I think that might be an interesting twist on things, with Kyubey getting a redemption arc that drives Homura nuts as people forgive him. Culminating in Kyubey doing something to try and make up for all the trouble he caused.
i hope homura and sayaka or homura and madoka have a fight scene like homura vs mami in rebellion, but with a more dramatic focus on character development. how cool it'd be for sayaka and homura to finally make up and stop being at each others necks.
One thing everyone should have in mind is nobody knows where Walpurgisnacht comes from, but it became stronger each time Homura came back in time, implying there could be a relation with these two. Also, as much as I would love for Madoka and Homura to have a happy ending... this is not that kind of show 😢
Devil homura did not bring back witches. She could've, but, it'd mean girls are extremely suffering again and she'd also be putting madoka at risk, so, I pretty much 100% doubt it. In the end of Rebellion, she specifically says/rewrites and forces/makes the kyubey's deal/fight against curses/negative emotions, witches in pmmm are canonically called and referred to as curses multiple times, witches are curses, kyubey is dealing with curses aka witches instead of magical girls. Magia record jus has bad writing and magia record is only one universe - out of infinite - which is a obsolete unique abnormal universe in the canon madoka magica infinite universe. Madoka aka Madokami/LoC is still seen in magia record watching everything, Madoka can rewrite it like nothing and remove witches from magia record, but, if she does, it'll be completely destroyed. She'll destroy everything in magia record if she does since it's a unique obsolete abnormal and fragile universe. She's also is canonically all seeing and all knowing and existing everywhere, she's a literal actual God, so, again, bad writing in magia record, she apparently can't see the past, present, and future of magia record even though she can with literally everything else. So she jus watches/listens and witnesses everything in magia record as it goes on and on. If magia record becomes a singularity which destroys other universes, she will destroy magia record, but, she doesn't, cause magia record doesn't become a singularity.
The poster for the movie wtf is (other) homura holding?? it looks like a telephone with bones and has a snake head with cracked crystals like the ones in the homura becomes the devil scene.
I don't think she's holding it since we don't see her hand around it or in any way touching it. Maybe it's one of those movie posters that have this very seemingly random object but important item in the middle with the main characters in the back.
There is an answer to your question about now that homura split madoka in two if new witches will appear and at the end of rebellion when homura and sayaka are talking homura tells sayaka that she only took some part of the law of cycles that being madoka so the law of cycles is still there so most likely there are still no more witches in the universe.
I saw this theory that said that the Law of Cycles is still there but is just incapable of taking the magical girls grief by itself and doesn't have a human form to take on since the original one was of Madoka, a part of it. They theorised that Homura contracts new magical girls, they kill wraiths (Sayaka and Homura only discuss wraiths as a problem by the end of Rebellion) until they fall into despair allowing the Law of Cycles to bring their soul to "magical girl heaven" and the Incubators take their despair and use it to prolong the universe lifespan without a containment (grief seeds, grief cubes), the containment being their bodies now and that's why they look so damaged in Rebellion. It was because immediately after Homura recreated the universe the Incubators had to take care of all the curses at once to take the burden off Madoka quickly and effectively so there'll be a smaller chance that she'll regain her memories, according to the epilogue it's safe to say that handling the grief and the entire process is a team effort between Homura, the Law of Cycles and Kyubey.
It doesn't really go into much about her. Just some black and white texts saying who she is and how she's been around forever. The trailer is being deliberately vague on her for now
I read a fun theory that the new girl is Kyubey and Homura forced him to be a magical girl. Probably not going to happen but I did like the theory.
lol that's the best theory I've heard so far
I think that might be an interesting twist on things, with Kyubey getting a redemption arc that drives Homura nuts as people forgive him. Culminating in Kyubey doing something to try and make up for all the trouble he caused.
Nice scientific analysis xD
The one thing that bothers me (And you've said that yourself) is that kyubey seems to be okay.

Hopefully they both can come to an understanding at least🥲
It's not said the Walpurgisnacht becomes stronger each Time homura resets the timeline tho? You're confusing it with kriemhild Gretchen
Devil humura did bring back witches, the result of that is basically the events of magia record

It definitely looks wicked that's for sure

I have a theory homura is now the one making magical girl contracts now
the cycle must continue i suppose
I think in the beginning when she’s asking can u fight, she’s making a contract @@yuriboygareth
very probable@@adeledubois6006

I think they look older
Wait can you please break down what the trailer says about Walpurgist's characher?
