There's some stereotypes about women driving but a lot of women drive here. It's quite normal especially if you're middle class or above. It's just very rare to see foreigners driving here because we know traffic is challenging. I was surprised to see Africans and Indians driving around in my community. Having a car is a big commitment, more so for foreigners. It's a lot rarer to see foreign women driving. They usually have drivers. Many just take the taxi or Grab.

What is instinct to filipinos when encountering foreigner in Philippines is respect,politeness and hospitality.
They are polite to foreigners but rude to fellow locals.
on the flipside, it's also instinct for some filipinos to take advantage of these foreigners seeing them as walking amiunt of dough
