It should come as no surprise that Guadalajara is home to some of the best food in Mexico but we had no idea how amazing the first
meal of the day could be. In this video we will share our top 5 brunch spots in Guadalajara!
The very first place we visit, Casa Dely, we just happened to walk by and they had a unique style of Chilaquiles that we are still dreaming of today!
After taking in the sights of the beautiful Arcos De Guadalajara we visit what we consider to be the best bakery in Guadalajara, Karmele!
Then we stop by an awesome Cafe called El Terrible Juan Cafe for a crazy grilled cheese, wrapped in bacon and smothered in maple syrup!
The most unique place that we visited, possibly on our entire food tour through Mexico is Kurtos! They are taking a classic Hungarian Chimney cake and stuffing it with breakfast food!
Last but not least we hit up Comala Barra De Cafe for one final delicious sweet and savory breakfast!

Another great video! Once again, I just love how internationally cultured Mexico is when it comes to cuisine from around the world. I had a chimney cake for the first time in Leipzig, Germany a few months ago. And now I see it in this video? Crazy lol.
It was such a random treat! We were just doing laundry next door and we were like “no f’n way!” We also saw they had more than one Bing Su restaurants, Japanese shaved ice, so crazy. We showcase an incredible Japanese sandwich shop in our next video, stay tuned and thanks a million for the comment!

We have no idea how it took us so long to make our way to Guadalajara. Since we are just doing food videos now we didn’t showcase the true beauty of the city. We visited the zoo and it might be the best one on earth! And we are from San Diego! You can have monkeys crawl on you! The beauty is astounding, food is incredible, the home of tequila and the kindest most genuine people we have experienced in all of our travel! Mexico City has some really incredible Coffee shops but Guadalajara is the king of the cafe! We had so many that were on our list we just didn’t have time to visit. Guadalajara is a must!

Any activities you guys did in Guadalajara?
No we just ate.🤣 JK we visited the zoo, and it might be the best zoo on earth. We hit some museums, visited markets and took some architecture tours. Also visited as many churches as we could. No tequila this time but Guadalajara is a place we will visit often.

I would recommend if you haven't tried it already. Tejuino is a fermented corn drink and get it with a scoop of nieve de garrafa de limon. Taste amazing.
is it a safe city?
I’m sure there are sketchy parts as with any city, but we didn’t run into any issues and we haven’t hung out in some local neighborhoods and markets as well. However, the main tourist district is super safe, well-maintained and patrolled by helpful police.
