We visited just before Dia Del Muertos and preparations were in full swing. We stumbled upon a beautiful market and tried a delicious stuffed Gordita!

Now that you are enjoying Guadalajara city, I highly recomend you try ''CARNES EN SU JUGO''. Delicious traditional plate of the region. It's not street food, you'll have to look around for a restaurant.

We are so sad to say we didn’t get to try it while we were there! We have an awesome video sharing some Birria de chivo, a caldo de res as well as Tortas ahogadas. But we did miss the Carne en Su Jugo this visit! We promise to return and try it next time, please don’t give up on us we have a lot of delicious food to share!

Thanks so much! Surprisingly no! We always say it’s probably because we eat really spicy food but I don’t know the science behind that theory😂. No more issues with street food in Mexico, China or Romania than eating at restaurants back home.

Have the locals tried up selling? Not all do it, but there are the ones. Use this word against them ("ahorita") it means now, but it could happen later or even another day.
Great Point! On this trip specifically we didn’t have any issues with this. Thank goodness we are lucky to try some really local spots and we were treated with such respect and kindness. It really was remarkable. But we do keep an eye I. It and will add this to our vocabulary. Thanks a million!
Looks like a vibrant city to visit! However, I’d prefer a freshly made torta and not one that’s been sitting. Not sure why they premake them. They can be quickly assembled like street tacos.
Totally understand and agree. We will say that the place that has those tortas is crazy busy so the turnover is actually surprisingly high, especially at lunch time so they do remain fairly fresh. Next weeks video is for you we get a freshly made torta ahogada that blew our mind and it was much more fresh!

Guadalajara is so rad! We had never been and it shot up our list of favorites cities in the world! We will be back for sure, so much more to eat!

All that food looks delicious, You guys have officially tasted and experienced what REAL Mexican food is ….that said … when u guys return back to the states you are gonna realize what most Americans actually think as good Mexican food really isn’t and u won’t be satisfied with mediocre Mexican food anymore
This is the most true, we’ve experienced! Thank you so much we are from San Diego to the Mexican. Food honestly is pretty good but it is unique not necessarily as authentic. We are lucky to have Tijuana in our backyard and you can expect a video from there this summer🤙🇲🇽❤️
