I've watched so many magic loop tutorials, and yours is hands down the clearest - thank you!

You are an English knitter - a thrower. Continental knitting holds the yarn in the left hand and is the speed knitting method.

Irish cottage knitters are speedsters and their throwers.

Your tutorial is good however you say you are a continental knitter. You are not. You use the throw method coming from your right hand. Continental knitters pick from yarn off the left hand.

please explain: can we divide the work after we knit in the round for certain rows? because we only need this method when we start to decrease the stitches, which requires DPN usually.

Absolutely you can divide whenever and however you like! I rarely use regular knitting in the round and instead have my long cable needles for everything! The longer your cable the more you use this method. If you buy short cables it’s limiting.

@@dakotadunbar but I think pushing the stitches back to needles is a bit of work, so i'd rather use the circular needles the regular way until the stitches are getting too few

The knitting needles are beautiful. May I ask where you got them from?

xanadu1jw hi I'm not the poster but if I'm not mistaken they are Knit Pro needles - I have them myself and they are brilliant to use! Most craft shops should carry them, but to play safe, google knit pro and your location 😊😊😊
