One thing to keep in mind is that the screen is all touchscreen so you can press the touchscreen so you don’t need the wheel to navigate the menus. You also have access to a lot of the settings on the live view by touching the Q button on the touchscreen.

If you want full frame 4k 60p in Sony world, you have to go to a7sIII and then it is only 12mp for photo. If you go with a7iv or even a7rv, you have good mp, but no full frame 4k 60p. Canon r6 II not only less expensive than a7iv now but hit the sweet spot for both photo and video. You have 24mp enough for photo and you have full frame 4k60p.
Long time Fuji user, but love the look of the Canon R6ii. Plus it's made in Japan and not offshored to China. I'll keep my XT2 but am going to get the R6ii.
You are very new to the Canon R system and lack lenses. I own the Canon R8. Awesome camera compared to the price (USD 1199). try RF24mm F1.8. It is enjoyable to vlog with RF24mm F1.8 also with crop it can be 37mm equivalent (for b-roll). For autofocus check your setting and with RF35mm F1.8 stm it is slow and good for cinematic shot.
Would love to see a comparison between your fx30, S5 II and the canon r6 mk II from your video maker experience perspective, when it comes to ( interface, false colors vs waveforms, dynamic range) as I have to say it… I do appreciate your way of showing pro & cons in a polite manner of the different gears.

Please please make one with the same sigma lens, sigma 50 1.4 or sigma 35 1.4 would be just perfect 🙏 compare please photo and video from the same spots/angle/lightning, so we could see the difference in picture in photo and video. It's a great camera, I almost switched for it. The only problem is the Canon lens lineup. Most of their useful primes are 1.8 STM primes, and the autofocus motors are so slow on those lenses they are just terrible for video. The 35mm is the best performing 1.8 RF prime and even then you noticed how the autofocus lagged. To have professional reliable autofocus, you have to buy their L series primes, which are only the 50mm, 85mm and 135mm, and they cost a lot. Like I said, the RF lens lineup sucks.
Actually you can set the af speed in the video menu from fast to slow, pretty sure he shoot it by default 😎 aka normal... u know for shooting video who like a fast pull AF ? Hahaha
@@KenseiAkatsu yes, i have the RF 35 f1.8, and in video the video focus is VERY slow ... i have another EF 35mm F1.4 lens from their DSLR, and its adapted, and its MUCH MUCH faster, so the lens does affect the AF speed.

Best thing with Canon is the availability of good value EF-L lenses. I used to have an Eos R, very nice for photos.

If your work involves photography and videos, go for the R6 II. If you do only photography go for the R5
AF in video is not slow. Get your settings right. 😀 You can set tracking speed in the settings.
