I will never forget my first visit to Logees (must be about 35 years ago) and discovering that majestic Ponderosa lemon. I was filled with this sense of profound awe and joy - even now, all these decades later, it still gives me shivers just thinking about it. It's one of my favorite memories. I still a thriving rex begonia (don't remember the variety) that I bought there at least 25 years ago. I've been dreaming of making another visit; next time we visit friends in CT, I'm going to insist on allowing an extra day for a leisurely field trip. Congrats on the book - I look forward to adding a copy to my collection. 🪴💕
