I purchased 2023 platinum! Very awesome. The leather finishing interior is luxurious. The sound system with subwoofer is amazing. Highly recommend. Gas usage is best in class, a better option than hybrids since that battery decline and in winter.
People give Nissans a lot of shit but I’ve never had any problems with them. My parents used to own a pathfinder and I loved that car. It was a good size & it was fun to drive. I sometimes even miss driving it. Nissans aren’t for everyone but I think they are good. The new rogue is cute 🥰
one of my parents had an 2015 altima, it was a good car but had a few wheel issues with a lot of screeching, they had a pathfinder and changed to sienna too
I love Nissans and Hondas. My parents have a 2016 pathfinder SV and I love that car it’s so nice! I’m bout to get my first car and I’m looking at a Sentra or civic
my first three cars were Altimas. I currently own a 2017 Malibu but I always wanted a rogue and now that they're redesigned, I REALLY WANT ONE NOW LOL
@davidcurlee3869 how is it
excited to get my 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum next week,,, just ordered it last week.....and whats nice is there was no dealership mark up and got a few things thrown in ( fog lights , block heater , all weather mats , locking lug nuts 5 years free oil changes ) am gonna add the full cargo liner , front window tint 25% , 3m protector , side window deflectors.....
took alot of SUV's out for test drives and kept coming back to this....comfy , good on gas , a bit peppy and great features...... and a good price....cheers from Alberta Canada
If you don’t mind me asking which dealership did you go to, deciding between this and a Mazda CX-50. Also reside in Alberta.
@@muaaza3931 SOUTH TRAIL NISSAN in Calgary...ask for Nik tell him Shannon sent ya.....loving the rogue so far ..everything about it
I can agree on that, especially the good on gas, I mean $30 bucks for a full tank that will last you a week. And definitely comfy for all day use.
Out of all the videos I have watched of the rogue, you're the first one to say something about the bumps in the rogue and feeling them. Everyone else stated that they barely felt them. Imma go with the majority haha 😅
No he's definitely right, but I would describe it more like "crashing" over bumps. The stability is awful, and uneven surfaces at really slow speeds cause the whole vehicle to wag. It's like they over softened the suspension.
I LOVE my Rogue!!! Every time I see it in the garage I smile big. It’s a beautiful comfortable ride!! I totally disagree with the comment said “that it’s not the most fun ride.” Why would that have been said? It’s the BEST ride and I’m comparing it to our turbo BMW, our Lexus suv and our 4Runner.
Being in the sports mode is so stinking fun!! There is quick take off from a traffic light (need it in the city) and it sounds like I’m shifting without being loud like a muscle car. The steering is awesome. The interior is so beautiful and mine is leather charcoal (black). The moonroof is cool and I use it in the winter because I’m such a moonroof girl. The heated steering wheel is so wonderful and allows me to not have to wear gloves. The heated seats and being able to keep my friends warm in the back makes me feel good. The 9” screen.. I’ve never had a screen before and I feel like a princess with this option. The stereo is good and it’s so wonderful having the Bluetooth option so I can listen to the music I love the most. I think this Rogue is fabulous! I was so thankful when I found exactly what I wanted and I will have this for 10 years or longer. Thank you Nissan! And yes this is my first Nissan as I usually buy Lexus or BMW but I wasnt too excited about their newer suv body styles. And definitely get the chrome package. It makes the exterior pop! The front end is beautiful and I still haven’t seen another suv that is prettier.
Definitely a good and nice looking compact crossover. The new Rogue/X-Trail is actually available with a hybrid overseas. It is called e-Power and the engine is only used for charging the batteries. Only the electric motors drive the car directly. Nissan should really bring that model to North America, as the competition is offering hybrids and have proved that there is a market for hybrids.
Another thing that North America misses out on is a new 12.3 inch infotainment screen with a new interface, similar to the facelifted Altima. Again, that really should come to the North American Rogue at least as an option.
With refresh new infotainment will come for sure...on Nissan rogue big infotainment looks so beautiful...yes.we can see that in epower hybrid rogue overseas review videos
Could be an issue with IP and licensing for competitors hybrid technology.
This is my favorite SUV! Amazing job bro.
Excited to drive the new 2022 Nissan Rogue at Enterprise car 🚗 rental .
Exactly! That's what I say. I wonder how reliable the 1.5 3 banger will be?
lmao
Not gonna see a platnum there 🤣
Can't wait to rip a big fart into the seat 😎
bruhhh for real 😂😂
Good to see that you did this car, was looking in and was trying to request.
I recently drove one for a week while my car was in the shop and I loved it. If I could approve it I would definitely buy one!
The V6 sound from the 3cyl turbo is "simulated" as it comes through the speakers. I actually like it a lot sounds very nice. I am just concerned with a 3cyl turbo long term reliability.
Only on the higher trims I believe, the lower trims with the crappier stereo have no pumped in audio.
I have a 2022 nissan rogue plat, the engine blew at 6k miles and was replaced under warranty (thankfully). Before this happened I would get this error message; "Engine malfunction, power reduced" on the dash. Definitely something to be concerned about, I'm looking to replace the rogue soon.
@@sharpranger1417 I think you just got a defective engine. There is always a percentage. I have over 12k on my 2023 Rogue Platinum and it “purrs” like a cat! A big upgrade from my 2013 Altima!
Just do more frequent oil changes (3,000-4,000 miles or every 6 months. Whichever comes first) and the engine should be fine
CVT fluid that should be done every 30k miles, other than that it should be okay
You did not do an audio review. I look forward to those as a good audio system is important to me and I’m sure others as well.
I like watching videos by TheTopher :)
I love my Nissan rogue 2023 s base model , not too flashy will do the job I wanted to do perfect for me, thank you Thomas Nissan of Joliet,"THE BOMB"
We had a Nissan Rouge SL 2021 in color pearl gray and we loved it but sadly someone passed the red light and hit the car around 3 months ago and they just told us that it was gonna be a total loss because of a wire harness that Nissan could not send to the body shop fixing the car which sucks and I’m gonna miss the car 😢
The official vehicle of driving 1 inch from the steering wheel.
😂😂
I'm 6'3 and have no issues driving this car it's very comfortable.
I'm sure u don't know how to adjust for your own comfort
Did you guy's hear that?
yo bro! No way u feel the same,🤣 i have to agree. Nissan's biggest problem is the steering wheel adj. its not going out (or i shall say forward towards u) that much, its missing like 1 inch or so. No matter what to do its feels weird.
I just bought my brand new Rogue 2023 as well ❤
Would be cool to see this powertrain in a smaller car like a Versa or something. Maybe with a manual transmission :)
@@F35Nerd no it's Nissans most compact US sedan

Big Rogue energy
Hard to believe 3 cyl is making a comeback after so so long, not better than 4 cyl but can squeeze more fuel efficiency out of it in some applications but for sure the 4cyl in the best for mpg and power balance if a manufacturer wants to have some focus to power a 4cyl obviously would produce more. Hopefully it's still a long way off where the 4cyl becomes the new v6 because the v6 is already the new v8
The 3 cylinder in this is actually more powerful, faster and achieves better gas mileage than the outgoing 4 cylinder…
@Jordan P 🤦🏽♂️This was made for performance so no shat but if it was made for performance with a 4cyl it would be even better. 4cyl are better than 3 cyl and that's a fact so I know you're not about to try and debate this.
@@capn.c5321 I remember having the same debate years ago when we were going from V6 to 4 cylinder. Just boils down to people are scared of change.
@@jordanp1859 Scared of change. Or concerned with long term reliability...? Their is a HUGE difference my friend. We'll see how this turbo 3cyl fairs in the coming years. For now i wouldn't buy one but rather lease until they work out any "kinks". Of which their most certainly will be some. Considering Nissan CVT's are not the most reliable out there.
I don't know where you've been hiding my friend. But the 4ycl turbos in A LOT of vehicles today has become the new V6. V8's will always be in their own category and their a dying breed at this point.
Correction: this vehicle does NOT have wireless Android Auto in any trim. Thrilling to have wire-required Android Auto and a wireless charger - a $600 option. Not that big a story, but I hoped into my friend's 2022 Huyndai Venue - a tiny, cheap little SUV, and...it has wireless android auto. This annoys me. Otherwise, though? I love my Rogue Platinum.
I love the new 1.5 liter VC turbo engine in is 23 Nissan Rouge
I will admit, Nissan is doing good in styling. Take notes Chevy and Ford.
Im driving a rogue good performance nothing to complain
Hoping the 3 cylinder here makes it way to the Outlander.
A 3 row suv with a 3-cylinder doesn’t seem like a good idea
@@keyshawnrussell245 v6 or v8 is a better fit.
Same lol. I don't want the outlander for the 2.5 but the 1.5 would seal the deal
Come on in. 84 month financing available, no minimum FICO required
So dumb
Poor people getting the transportation they need, so funny!
@@occckid123 you must be talking to the OG comment because I completely agree!
I really think this rogue is Nice
Considering it for my first car ❤️
That's a nice first car. Mine was a 10 year old Buick Electra that I traded in 5 years later for $250.
Only if your rich
I miss seeing your 850R Videos @TheTopher
This looks better than the Sportage
hopefully this model has a forced on auto headlight setting so we wont be terrorized by Rogues without headlights at night
They do not, unfortunately. But the LED daytime running light is always on.
Be aware they removed the fog lights from all trim levels and have not made the parts needed to put the fog lights in available in Canada yet.
It's exactly what I want. with wireless android auto and head up display. The Nissan dealer in Drummondville Quebec is ridiculous and car is too expensive. I'll have to settle with RAV4 or TUCSON.
Hi there, did you notice the whirring sound like computer while accelerate? Is that normal on new Roque? Almost not noticeably but when you really listen it's there. Anyway love the video man thx
Hey Topher! Will you be doing a winter tire review or suggestion? Im driving a Mazda 3 in Utah and winter is fast approaching, thanks !
Just got a set of Michelin X-ice snows in for the BRZ, will report back mid to late November 👍
The cooper evo winter studded I have been running here in Montana on my mazda, they are fantastic!
i wish they put those motor in Sentra lol
I am confused now because you said 2022 Nissan Rogue at the beginning ;)
Looks more like a 2022 or early 2023. 2023 late models have auto stop which he didn't mention.
I really wish Nissan would just stop it with the fake shifting. Overall it doesn't look terrible. I do hope their CVTs have become more reliable since the past 10 years.
I hate fake shifts so much. I just don’t understand it at all. I drove a ‘21 Rogue on vacation this last summer, and when I floored it to merge, it felt like something was breaking. I don’t want my cars to be designed to feel like a 25 year old Honda automatic that needs to be rebuilt. 😐
Aside from that, though, I really liked the car. Nissan is going places lately.
You’d rather it hold revs like an outboard motor?
@@hutzman7664 lol and then people complain it's stressing and braking the engine when they hear it sitting at redline. It's not doing anything but sounding different. It doesn't sound like a 25 yr old Honda. Honda wishes it had a transmission that could keep it that much in the powerband back then.
For 23’ the X-Trail has E-Power I believe it’s a mild hybrid. I think they test stuff there first, because for 21’ they already had the 1.5 vc-turbo. It’s weird what they decide to do in certain markets.
It's an "electric" car, the drive is 100% from electric motors while the 3cylinder is for producing energy for the small battery pack. It's for people who want to dabble in electric but are scared to go full BEV. The 3 cylinder driving the US version of the Rogue imo is an excellent engine, just hope they bring E-Power to the states as the Fuel economy they get is pretty stellar with less moving parts than a normal hybrid.
That's 2023 not 2022 why are you wrong?
We want to see The Topher in the new bmw M2
Sounds like a VQ
01:05 - I usually judge a car's quality level by the sound of the driver door closing...
Because you have sugar in your tank
I cringe every time I close the door on my Rogue for fear a new rattle will be discovered. Hard to count them all.
It´s a very good Nissan SUV for a good price 👍.
Love this Rogue but scared to get one due to Nissan having a lot of issue with their CVT transmissions
AND THAT is what scares me. I am trying to hold out till 2024 to see if the problem would be fixed.
It's a new design with a chain instead of belt. Service it regularly and it will be fine.
11:02. Am shopping around have narrowed down to CR-V, Forester, Rogue (due to some personal preferences). How does the Rogue compare to the other two in terms of suspension, and cabin noise?
No one ever uses ventilated seats ive done car sells for 4months now and I haven’t met 1 person who used it or cared to have it with what ever car they were buying
Just got brand new car driven only 800 Km yet , at dashboard warning light on
Says
AWD error warning
CVD reduced power
Not happy just bought new 2023 Nissan Rogue platinum warning lights came on
I test drove one today and the sound system, although Bose, didn't really have the crisp treble and rich base. It made me wonder if there are different Bose sound systems for varying Rogues.
This is some big Altima energy
Aren't you intelligent!!
Cant wait till 2030 when were buying brand new cars with 2.0L 1 cylinder cars with 240hp.
Michigan’s Roads are the worst to test drive on.
My dream car 😍😍😍
I'll buy it...
In 20 years maybe 🤣🤣🤣
Hi TheTopher, may i ask which one do you prefer? Honda CRV hybrid AWD or Nissan Rogue Platinum AWD?
It's not a twenty two it says on the description it says twenty twenty three 0:04
i want the engine but not really the car. imagine the mpg you'd get if this was in a lightweight sedan.
When you're NOT in cruise, it does NOT warn or intervene when you go out your lane at 40mph or higher? It only does if you are at Cruise?
On the subject of these 3 cylinder engines, what would you think of a GR 86 with the GR Corolla engine? Would that ruin the character too much?
Honestly, I think it wouldn't ruin it per se but just change its identity of it a bit. For sure the weight distribution isn't going to be the same unless they change the chassis dimensions but it will certainly be faster
Nissan still needs to improve interior LED lighting, AC cooling seats
You said 2022 in the video but the title says 2023. Which year is this??
That is cool but how do you afford it
Can you do 2023 Mitsubishi outlander
Me gusta nissan rogue para la familia
Is there any pumped in engine audio, sounds kinda like it but impressive if its natural
No it is a "simulated sound" coming from the radio speakers. No 3cyl sounds like a V6.
It’s too bad SUVs seem to get more attention than anything else when it comes to interior work, this looks nice for what it is
Nissans sentras and altimas look pretty good
@@Extrxe Not like this lol, I was in a 2020 Sentra before and the interior was atrocious. The backup camera quality looked worse than a 2015 Jeep SRT I had rented, and those Dodge/Jeep cameras are known to be bad too
Negotiate better tires if they have the Dunlop Grandtreks. They won’t last more than and 13000 miles and even say dangerous on snow and water. Grandtreks have a zero mile warranty. Vehicle is useless if you can’t drive it safely. Once tires were replaced we love our Rogue.
Due it's not a twenty twenty two is a twenty three like a yea 0:04
Why isn't 23 Platinum not on website to build?
Wrong title 2022 nissan rogue
So is this a 2022 or 2023? The title says 2023 but you said "all new 2022 Rogue" so which is it 😂

Why would anyone pick this, especially in the top trim, compared to a simalarly priced Sportage for example. The Sportage has better tech, more creature comforts, and a much better looking interior(and exterior imo)
No sportage in my area to test drive, sportage had 6k markups with 4 month waiting period, also Kia is more unreliable than nissan.
This feels way classier than the sportage.
That Sportage front end is ugly as all hell

For me a small 3 cyl., even turbo, is a no go., just as the Honda CRV is a no go for me. I just do not like that size motor (3 cyl. or 4 cyl.) where hills are a daily reality. Around town I am sure it is fine. If they offered a solid 2.0 - 2.5 4 cyl. w/ hybrid and/or turbo, that would be a much more user friendly daily driver in my world.

god... Nissan.... Rogue... I thought everyone figured it out. Mazda CX5 (and CX50 now), RAV4/Venza (money?$$), and CRV. That should cover your compact economy reliable crossover, depending on the transmission and drive dynamics you prefer.
Just stay away from Kia/Hyuindai, Nissan, Fiat/Chrysler,GMC, all other junk... Go to Scotty's channel if the above doesn't make sense.
