Should use it to heat your stators or any other copper you are gonna pull out with the stator wrecker. Looks like it would fit a lot of big ones and small ones without causing all those fumes when normal burning them

oh: those latches are called toggle lathes similar to toggle clamps. Pretty cheap to buy and widely available.

I make 20pound ingots cU, it's not easy to melt was way harder then I thought it would be. Been doing it for years now..u would need a massive crucible to melt 50lbs... I can't wait to c u do it though!!!!😊

Hey Derek, Great video! 2 things to do ASAP. Put a cover over the incinerator - don't let rain inside that big hole on the top! #2 - Empty the inside out and make sure you're wearing your mask and disposable gloves! Candace, I have a couple of ideas for you. First let it be known that you are A 1st CLASS RESEARCHER!!! I would love to see a video of how you research the obscure stuff you do. I think it would be very entertaining and informative. Second is on the same topic. Have you ever thought of putting together a resource book/pamphlet of where you go to find your information and some good sites/groups that you use alot. I think you could definitely sell it on your merch website. Just a thought… but if you make $millons don’t forget the little guy.😂

the part I'm trying to say, is the oil burners are expensive, and it would be hard to get good value from them for what you seem to do for your projects. So sell them in a working unit to maximize the asset, and invest the money in several other things you want to do. Not that you must, but you'll get more done of what you want. You might even find a used, enclosed trailer and make a whole/complete powder coating setup up in it, including a hot portion for baking on the finish! Just making myself a jackass of unsolicited opinions lol

Awesome incinerator. Those bricks can be coated just like new. It would be killer to see it operate, maybe cook some copper. If all else fails, scrap it.

Id say hook it up and make sure it is working properly (given its age/condition)
Then list it for sale and see what kind of interest there is.
If there isnt any relevant interest then id say strip it down for parts and send the rest to scrap.
I have it for sale but it's such a weirs item I bought it will sell.
stop at NAPA and get a spray bottle of Rainex, for when the wipers break.

Copper melts at 1,085 celcius. If your burner is only reaching 1,000 Farenheight, it will not be hot enough to melt copper.

Priority one is getting a tarp over that thing one good rain could render it useless. While I frown on burning the plastic off of copper I could be on board if that incinerator is set up properly for the task.

Really nice scores man. You must make a video doing the cold start on the incinerator. That would make great content. After that, you can cut it apart and keep all the good stock. The kiln should be vertical, like you said. Prolly have to cut it down just a bit and make a lid. You could easily use a standard 20 lb propane tank get it extremely hot to melt copper. You can look at the Devil Forge kilns for ideas or parts. Those transformers at the end of the video are Titanic. 🤣

scrap it, not enough time, turn and burn, get that money, space is limited and valuable. what if you get a huge amount of scrap and you have all these future projects in the way, where you gonna put it? stay nimble, $10,000.00 in the pocket is better than $10,000.00 in scrap under foot.

I always cringe to hear scrapper talk about making ingots. Most scrap yards will not buy ingots because they cannot verify the purity.
They sell the ingots online at a premium.

Don't scrap it. It will come in handy for you. It's free, it's compact, and there is not much copper in it. You can cook a really big stators in it. Try to sell it as is.
