Who's the kid just sitting there tapping away on his phone. Put his butt to work. Goal number 1 is always be profitable and focused but #2 for me atleast, is share knowledge with the next generation. Gotta motivate and teach these kids ethic that they don't need to work for the man. Your in a prime position for that.
If it was not me or Steave I'm not sure
Steve making a special guest appearance in the field 😮
😂😂😂
Was going to say you're good with the camera, then you put it right in the action like I haven't seen before... keep it up Spielberg! 🤣😂
😂 Thanks!
At least you didn’t have far to go.👍
That was definitely a plus.
Literally just pulled out some of these that light up my works building! Very heavy lights
Awesome, Hope you get some copper out of them.
Hello Florida,,, northern Sweden here again and scrapping is good.
I made a few good contacts so I am not short on scrap,, AC/heater units I get several in a week and I found a local buyer for precious metals.
Stay safe and take care.
That is awesome! 👊👍
I LOVE the close ups! 💖💖💖💖
Thanks!
just another great video i am glad to see oliver back to hes a good worker .enjoyed the live video last night too keep them comming
Thanks 👍
Nice lot of lights.. I hate a damn thief.
Thanks me too!
Love them lights😊😊😊
Me too! lol
Hi, just a note: if you have a plasma burner, you can easily burn those rivets out
Thanks for the suggestion
Great close up camera work on the transformers. Loved it!
Thanks!
You need to build a smallish crusher. Great video.
Thanks for the suggestion
Great video my friend
Thanks!
Hi Derek. You guys rock thru the transformers. For the life of me, I cannot understand how you guys can so readily tell which coils are copper and which are aluminum when you are cranking. Old eyes on my part.
The weight, you feel it.
I do it by feel, Steave has to scrape them sometimes. lol
Could you make electro magnetic vices for milling machines I bet you have 95%of what you need already. Great video.
Thanks, It's a possibility
maybe you could drill a hole in both of the chucks an put a put a piece of round bar stock in there with threaded ends an put nuts on so you can remove them if u need too, you know kinda like what a bench vice would have
Thanks for the suggestion
Great load great job and video
Thanks 👍
I’m amazed how you fitted all those lights in the truck and trailer, great video
Thanks 👍
They really got the life out of those light! CRUSTY!
😂😂😂 They were made when they made things to last and be maintained or repaired.
@@ProjectShopFl lord knows they don’t do that anymore!
Great vid!
Thanks!
So satisfying watching the transformers breakdown
Thanks!
The time saver in me had an idea, can you clear out the cracked transformer, load the next, and cycle the ram down with your feet while cleaning off the steel from the just cracked one? Since the down cycle takes several seconds and is obvious by the double crack sound, you should be able to take your foot off while clearing the steel pieces. Just a random thought from my OCD brain while watching your cycles. Might need a little more table in front to give you a spot to slide the cracked transformer over to while loading the new one. Have a good one!
Thanks for the suggestion
hey derek
i have a suggestion for you when you break the glass
do you have a large tarp: put that down first, break the glass , and just pick up the tarp
easier clean up
try it ..
kanzaz kyot-e
from kansas city
Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for coming on the live stream.
you need to get you a box truck brother
I had a box trailer and I did not like the fact that everything had to come out the back. It had its benefits but over all I like the open trailers that can be loaded and unloaded on any side.
I notice you do not remove the rivets with the rivet removing tool that comes with your air hammer. Also you should have in the set sheet metal attachment
Thanks I will look in to that.
Great video!
Thank you!
love it
Thanks!
You almost need to start crushing stuff flat and bailing it so make extra room on the trailer
Thanks for the suggestion
I don't know if you have that brand in the US, but I have a number of Parkside plasma cutters that have built-in compressors. I always have one on the back of the pickup with a small generator. to cut light fixtures, etc. into small pieces on site, which makes a considerable difference in volume. and here these plasma cutters don't cost anything, they are around two hundred euros.
I'm from the Netherlands
I've never seen one like that. lol
I'd use a air chisel to get them rivets
Thanks for the suggestion
You might try reducing handling. Motion is money and wasteful. Also try to work at waist height to reduce bending and possible injury.
Thanks for the suggestion
gotta get ur other trailer up an running man, so u can get some more space
Just got the parts to fix it.
What do you need to fix your other trailer with the crane?
New spindle, I smoked the passenger side. I just bought on and all the parts to ad breaks to the trailer.
I'm a big builder in Florida from ft Lauderdale,to Miami
What are you building?
@@ProjectShopFlam looking for property in mami and Ft Lauderdale
Am going to build office builds to apartment
You need a building!
I know
What happened to your closed trailer? Also what’s the backstory of how you added Steve and Oliver to your crew?
It was not mine. Steave was an old partner with my old land lord and Oliver's dad use to work for me.
What time is it...? it's Copper Daylight Time...CDT...!
😂😂😂
If it was not for the copper transformers i would have a hard time paying for these its a lot of work breaking them down.
Sad they are going away.
It was a shame that the Transformers were stolen.I hope they stole only the aluminium/copper ones.😂
😂😂 Me too!
Man you have to change tires on your trailer, they have completely worn out, it is unsafe to drive like that.
Thanks for the suggestion
How do you possibly make enough scrapping to afford a shop, hire helpers, and make a living for yourself?😊😊
I don't. lol
I still don't understand why you don't buy bulk transformers from yard... your money is in processing the shit...
I will look in to that.
Let someone else deal with it.👍
Ok
Holy shit man get some new tires for that trailer.. don't kill yourself or someone else
Thanks for the suggestion
Less talk more work buddy 😂
I'll get right on it.
Hey Derek. Great video. I've been trying to reach you. I sent you a text two days ago on Saturday and also an email yesterday. I did not get a reply from you on either. Please check you text messages and email. Thanks.
👍
Hopefully they ended up stealing aluminum transformers if they had to steal anything at all!
😂😂😂
Don’t show your license plate. People can track your location and steal from you. 🤷♂️
Thanks for the suggestion
Why are u a big show off
It's a UA-cam channel where I show what I do from day to day how is that showing off?
Keep bulbs worth money to the meatal that lights up can make you money and the glass.
Thanks for the suggestion
