We are big MUS lovers! So far we’ve used Primer thru Gamma. You covered it well. I appreciate that you point out the systematic review aspect. Some people think that it’s completely mastery with no review. 😊

My older two have done Masterbooks math but I am starting my younger two with MUS. Thanks for this very thorough flip through of MUS.
Thank you for this! I'm also thinking about moving my kiddo from spiral to mastery. My daughter also learned traditional multiplication in public school. You covered that too. I'm worried because I was set on math u see and listening to other reviews I didn't know if this would work. This is a great and very helpful review. Thanks!
Thank you for this thorough review. Both are in my opinion pricey, and I am SO happy to see an actual breakdown and flip through. You answered a lot of the questions I had about MUS. I was home schooled and used Saxon through algebra. I think it is a brilliant switch to start mastery of concept likes percentages, decimals, and after using a spiral. I remember getting lost in Algebra half because I didn't feel like I had time to master the concepts before moving on. That is something I would not have been able to articulate. I appreciate your careful consideration of Brielle's needs. (Not to say she was lost--at all! Just referring to my own experience). Now is a great time to switch because as you pointed out, it will end her up ready for algebra years. Such an incredible review! My kids are going into 1st grade and kindergarten and I am already attempting to map out their paths. My daughter LOVES math, so we ware taking it year by year to keep that fire and enthusiasm! Thank you for your time and sharing your thoughts!

I’ve been waiting for the is review! Thanks! We will be starting Epsilon pretty soon. We are also coming from Saxon 6/5. Question: how long would you say it’s going to take to finish the entire Epsilon level? I know it will vary by student but I’m just trying to get an idea. Thanks again!

What did you use for the multiplication and division review when you first started MUS. I am starting MUS now....starting with epsilon.
Where do you order that grid notebook?
My daughter, going into fifth, had a hard time with fractions. I think I’m switching to math u see to really make sure she understands the concept fully. Fingers crossed.
We’re going to be switching from Saxon to 5/4 was it a good transition for your daughter? We’re going to be using epsilon did you need the blocks or only fraction overlay kit? I’m a little confused if I need the blocks or not.
Is each workbook designed to last the whole year? Or is it designed to last for 1 semester?
Each book is designed to last a year. However as your child masters each lesson you may go through a level faster or slower because it is only going over on concept at a time in each lesson.
That looks expensive
