This video is amazing. Thank you very much for taking the time to make it. I have a Blomberg Dryer and there are not many videos online about servicing a Blomberg. This BEKO model is very similar to my Blomberg. I had a loud vibration coming from the dryer. I replaced the back bearing, all 4 frictional glides and it was still making the same noise. I had heard about the possibility of lint/dryer sheets/socks getting caught in the blower fan and sure enough, I had 2 dryer sheets wrapped in lint jammed in the blower fan. Luckily the fan itself wasn't damaged but after removing these, you can hear a pin drop while the dryer is running. I was able to make this repair due to watching your video, thanks again.
Excellent guide, thank you. My dryer was making a horrible regular thumping noise. I took the belt off and both the drum and motor turned freely. It only did it under tension. Turned out to be a tissue and debris bunched up in the fan. Following this guide has solved it and after a good clean out the dryer is much quieter overall. 👍
This video was a god send, thank you so much. Our dryer started making an awful noise and vibration. Your video helped me strip the dryer down, find and fix the issue (one of my sons socks and some fluff was caught in the fan blades), and more importantly but it all back together again. Luckily the belt was not broke so when back on quite easily. Thank you again

Thank you very much. I have exactly that model. It is squeaking when the drum turns and I want to try to fix it myself as there are no repairmen working in my area due to lockdown. I wasn't sure how to dissasemble the machine without destroying something with my clumsy paws. Now I know exactly what I need to do! If I have to buy any parts for the repair I will make sure to order them from you. I have a Beko DV1160 and it started to leave skid marks about a year ago, today it started to sound like i have a brick inside a drum or something of that sorts. I know its hard to give diagnostics like this but anything would help as I dont have anyone around who could fix it. Thanks in advance
I have similar tumble dryer but motor is different , is with the small belt . My problem is i don’t know where that tensionner spring from the motor goes .
If you use the contact us page on the website and make sure you give us your full model number, I will see if I can find any exploded diagrams which will assist you but the spring normally attaches from the motor to the chassis What would really help me to get my video seen as I'm no IT expert is to either share the channel or at least post it to your friends my videos might not be UA-cam superstars, but they save Appliances from the scrapheap. Thank you for an excellent video . I have completed serviced my machine with your guidance and and will replace the belt. Just one problem, now I am putting it back together I realise I did not pay enough attention to how the tension spring locates. The model I have Beko DSV64W is very similar to the one on the video but not quite the same. I can't see an obvious anchor hole. Does it hook onto the bar on the motor casing? If it does, I have not the strength to stretch the very tight spring :/
You put the spring on first, when the motor is freely rotating on its mounting. The action of stretching on the belt (as per this video) pulls the spring tight.
I have the same model. It’s started to leave black marks on clothes. Would it be just the front felt seal and bearing pads that need changing? Unless I’m mistaken I don’t think this model has jockey wheels?

What a great video thank you for making it. I replaced my drum belt. But now the heater element isn't working. So I bought a brand new heater element but still no joy replaced it but it's still not heating up. In order to try and fix it. What do you think I could try next? Thanks 🙏🏼👍

We have the same dryer but recently clothes are coming out dry but with black (grease) marks on some items of clothing any idea?

My Dryer is squeaking when the drum is turning. Does it just require a service or should i change the Drum Bearing Pads ?
