"saw" not only her obviously being blind but also in the sand where she said she had trouble feeling her way around. It's been said many times but that would have to be terrifying for her to experience
Appa is more than a pet to Aang. Not only is Appa the last thing surviving from the air nomads, but appa is Aang’s spirit animal. Every Avatar has a spirit animal and they are connected to them. So when one is in pain, the other is in pain too. The last scene was one of the most emotional and beautiful ones in the series.
It's even more than that. When an air nomad is 6, they choose a flying bison to bond with for life. If the airbender dies, the bison will go home and can never be tamed by another person again. Appa is both the avatar's animal guide AND Aang's personal bison. They have two separate bonds linking them forever.
@@SwordTune the same Kyoshi who sat at home while Qin conquered the Earth Kingdom, then when he showed up at her doorstep she just ran off and a random crumbling cliff resulted in his death 😂
Everybody loves Zuko (including me) because of his redemption, but recently I've been paying more attention to Aang. He is a child, and because he was afraid he ran off, and the next thing he knows is the people that raised him were murdered, and that he could make something with his power in Avatar state. Imagine feeling that guilt, and then having to confront the Fire Nation when you are just a young teenager, and in the middle of the journey you lost your only friend and connection to your childhood. Poor Aang. And what a strong character and human he is.
That emotion can also be tied to the other Avatars inhabiting his body in that state. I wouldn't be surprised if that was meant to be all the other Airbender avatars crying with him.
I love you putting together that Aang would never have killed that vulture bee on a normal day... Most reactors miss it... It's such an important moment... It shows how much Aang cares about Appa... And as much as people like to bring this moment up when they talk about how he won't (SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER) it's prove that he's human and a kid! And he can't always have his shit together!
Pretty sure the vulture wasp thing was a continuity error for the animation, like Rick holding baby Morty it was forgetfulness combines with the direction to make the scene convey an emotion. But the fact that people point to a bug as hypocrisy that Aang won't kill the Firelord is ridiculous anyway.
This is one of the most beautiful moments in the entire series. Aang cried in the avatar state. Which means all his past lives felt the pain of him loosing Appa and all cried with him.

UGH this episode. THIS EPISODE. The end never fails to make me cry. The tension just builds so much through the entire episode and then explodes at the end. It's SO well done and so powerful and heartbreaking. And the part where Aang killed the buzzard wasp always disturbs me. He's a pacifist vegetarian--and even after he got Momo free, he still deliberately hurt that creature. It really did a great job of showing how much pain Aang is in.
This scene is I believe the first time we see aang in somewhat of in control of himself during avatar state and use airbending to deal actual damage. He always evades maneuvers as part of airbending disipline.

Your reaction when Zuko and Iroh appeared is just precious 😂😂❤️❤️
You know the loss of appa was devastating to aang ; he was raised as a monk = to VALUE and protect life. The airbender way is to " avoid and evade" . the loss of appa and then the near-loss of momo literally made aang think ( and then perform ) " I want that thing to DIE " . its the first time in the season that aang himself has actual malice in his heart.
a wise man once said, "This is not a kids show"
The sandbenders have a clear lineage from the Fremen of Dune and the Tuskan Raiders of Tatooine

All I’m saying is in the Netflix remake there better be some lost sand benders...
I was watching new episode every week on TV and I hated so much to wait 7 weeks for the conclusion of Appa's kidnapping.
The tantrum just as the episode ended😂😂
feliz navidad para las dos, me encanta su trabajo.
