These look so incredibly comfortable! I would totally order a few bras but the combination of having a small frame with a larger bust means I'm most likely sized out 😕 Hoping for a wider size range in the future!
The first time I was measured at a lingerie store I learned that I was wearing a completely wrong sized bra. Went from the wrong 34B to the correct 30E. This was the best bra lesson for me because it taught me why my sides weren't covered--my cups were way too small, and I was compensating for it with the band. Sharing in case anyone else is struggling with side boobs and can't figure out why. I also learned that you can sometimes go up a band size and down a cup size or go up a cup size and down a band size, depending on style.
Such a great video. Most people talk about fit but you offered opinions on style, color, what bra to wear under what fabrics, I thought that was great! I too love an unlined underwire balconette bra even though I am surely older than your mom!
I'm 58 and I'm done with uncomfortable knickers. I love the Marks & Spencer's no VPL modal full briefs, £12 for a pack of 5 and so comfy (not to be too graphic but they don't ride between your bottom cheeks). I also like their bras, though I barely wear any because I'd rather go braless, unless I wear a tight top that requires some support. They ship worldwide and are very reasonably priced, their tights are great too.
I just got a couple of Organic Basics bras. I'm very impressed with the quality. I will definitely go back when I have a need for undergarments or tees.
I was just thinking that I should comment and ask you for a video on this as you always seem to manage to get just the right amount of the right type of bra peeking out but you beat me to it! Thanks Alyssa! Great video!
I have slowly transitioned my underwear to seamless cotton slips from Intimissimi. They still have a small percentage of spandex/elastane to make that laser cut possible, but I find they hold up reasonably well and are very comfortable. The cut is very minimal, classic, and flattering, and they come in loads of colours (also neutral colours and some beige/brown options).
@@carmelasantana3091They also have a high-waisted style in this (mostly) cotton fabric, only in less colour options (I believe black and beige). Very comfy and secure!
Oh how I wish I could have a delicate bra! I buy from a company called bravissimo. The have cupsizes up to K. I can never buy things in s,m or large as my ribs are tiny and my brests are not!
@ Why do they not have comfy things for us! I asked at H&M once and got the answer that they don’t endorse surgery for bigger boobs 😳🥺 I am all natural but have a illness that slowly makes my ribcase smaller and smaller… I have not bought anything from H&M since then!
I always struggled to find bras that suited my large bust. Being petite, I always felt so self-conscious. After a double mastectomy for aggressive breast cancer and then deciding to stay flat, I am 100% more confident now. Check your boobs ladies, as mine tried to 'take me out'! 💗💓💞
Glad to hear you're OK. I've always thought I wouldn't go for reconstructive surgery either if ever I had breast cancer, which unfortunately runs in my family so I get checked regularly. I used to have really big boobs and was so self-conscious too. As I got older and lost some weight, my boobs became smaller and I love having small boobs. I think the flat look is quite classy, androgynous and chic.
The T-shirts look great and are just what I’m looking for. I was wondering if your bracelet was vintage or something more recent. It’s such a pretty piece🙂
8:53 I have a 32 FF bra size,it’s a nightmare! Why in the age of AI can we not invent a comfortable bra?? Everything non under wired is padded, I DONT NEED PADDED! I should add they are not surgically modified they are a result of feeding my boys which I’m so glad I was able to do but now suffering. I cannot find a comfortable useful supportive bra it’s impossible and it shouldn’t be!
I hear you. This is my experience too. Didn't even need a bra before pregnancy and breastfeeding now it's basically impossible to find a correct fitting bra. Different size with every company too. 🙁😵💫
@@KatharinaEwers I think it’s very individual. I ballooned to what get like footballs, then shrunk to empty balloons, and now (5 years later) seem to have settled to the size I was before children. My sister went down a few sizes after finishing feeding. So, hard to know.
Check out knix bras. I am 32g and I buy all my bras from them. Their bras do not have wire, many have removable cups, and their swimwear is also amazing!
Alyssa, you move hemispheres faster than I watch videos! What a superpower :) Have you heard of a red bra hack, and what do you think of it? I totally agree with having yourself measured. Not only do different brands have different sizing, it's also that our size and shape (and preferences!) change over time. There's a 'hack' to try +/-1 around your usual size (+1 in cup, -1 in circumference and vice versa), which is not actually a hack it's just that we somehow need to account for differences in shapes and brand understanding of sizes :) I (used to) think I have the most common humble size and for years I could buy bras on the go without even going to the fitting rooms. My girlfriends were envious and I didn't even understand why bother. But over the past few years I realized none of my underwear is comfortable anymore. :( Strictly speaking I did NOT even change in size but my body composition changed so that most bras feel too hard on my ribs and chest bone. I have to try a ton of fabrics, shapes, band width etc. Now my friends and I are even, and I'm a huge believer that bra fitting is a thing for a reason :)
Very jealous of women with lighter bust. For me, a bra is more of a heavy duty machinery. I buy the best, obviously. But sometimes, a light breezy top would have been great, instead of extra all extra wide…
Team smooth beige lingerie all the way here. I vividly dislike seeing lumpy lace under my clothes, or the color of a bra through my top. I admit that I would sometimes love a small lacy detail along the edge of my bra to give it a little something, but it seems that most beige bras are very utilitarian. Sigh. It seems like my choices have made me a lingerie minimalist :)
I'd never wear a thick/padded bra, why? Why should we want our boobs to look bigger? For men? I don't dress for men and I don't want to look fuller, it's a bit misogynistic imo
@@luluandmeow there are small busted women who want a little more curve and dimension, this is a personal choice and can have absolutely nothing to do with dressing for men but dressing for one’s self and their own self confidence. I know multiple young women and more mature women (I’m 59) who admittedly wear padded bras and their choice has nothing to do with men. They’ve been the ones to bring it up in conversation when speaking of confidence and feeling good about themselves. Nothing to do with misogyny.
@@laurie3753absolutely, I have A-B cup which means my chest is almost flat and so I do need some padding especially wearing tighter T-shirts, blouses etc. Nothing got to do with attracting men attention 🙄
Id love to have a more pointy ( it makes more space between your bra and belly button) but unpadded. And reducer. Padded? Look like melons??? Nope not for me. Lol
Alyssa, don't you feel too exposed wearing such a cropped t-shirt? I'd be worried somebody would try to touch me. The very creased shirt could do with steaming/ironing

Finally someone talks about undergarments! This and shoes are my biggest issue thank you 🙏
Lovely video ❤. I learned a lot and loved the introduction of the line
Finally somebody did foundation garments. Thanks.
I like those little devices you can use to convert your straps to a racer back. Have you seen those?

And the knickers are comfortable and reasonably true to size. The happiness
I have transitioned to bamboo undies and finding the bamboo really good option in a hot environment 🇦🇺

Nailed it! Nude is best, most versatile! I don’t even know why companies sell white bras
You forgot to mention the slip dress. A thin slip makes all the difference when wearing a blouse and skirt…
You can put that in your video.

Under white jeans or a sheer dress/shirt, wear nude underwear, not white, and no VPL of course

Hi Alyssa, is there an equivalent brand that ships to Canada? I tried to make a purchase but they don't ship here. Thank you.
