    Beautiful restoration job you did restoring that old corded drill. You worked hard getting all that rust and dirt off the parts, even the armature and stator. I'm sure that cleaning the armature was meticulous, hard work because you had to clean the crevices without damaging the finer wires. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work.

    If you ear the bearings make some noise, it's would be necessairy to change it before to reassemble it.

      I don't know if I'd say EVERY video, but I have seen many with wire wrapped around the item to be restored. Why? Were they stored that way or what?

    I can tell you right now that this drill is not 100 years old, if it was it would have pre-dated the phillips head screws found on this thing, if anything this drill is possibly from the 1950s or 60s.
