Tim! When I first bought my Hoss package I bought the dual wheel kit and most every accessory and weeding shovel, including the bolt on planter attachment, but I omitted the disc attachment because i thought it looked so cute it had to be some kind of gimmick! Well I watched some videos on youtube of the thing in action and realized that it's no gimmick at all, and is very effective at breaking top layer soil crust after rain followed by hot sunny days, it can be set to straddle crops on either side and take out weeds, while at the same time giving a nice hilling effect to cover up and kill or slow down other tiny weeds in the plant row. It's actually one of the very best Hoss accessories you can buy for their wheel hoe in my opinion.

Hello, great video. don't feel bad about planting late I to am planting late this weekend. I plant my potatoes a foot apart with 3 1/2 feet between rows. I throw some 10-10-10 fertilizer right on the potatoes then cover with about 4 inches of dirt. Also I don't water until the plant breaks the surface. This has worked great for me for five years now. I'm in upstate new york. Thanks again for taking time to do your videos.

we used to grow them on top of a hill and then continue to heal them throughout the year that's the best way to do it you'll get big potatoes you have to heal them constantly so they don't get sunburned at least once a week it's not that hard to do and you can do it with the the two discs on your tractor drive right over the roads I wish I could come down there and teach you all how to grow potatoes we had award-winning potatoes

Tell katriel not to quit her day ,job or school. LOL I'M glad to see to Katreil was able to plant the corn with love again this year. If my wife and I were to ever start gardening again I would definitely buy a Hose Wheel Hoe. My wife has always saved her left over garden and flower seeds in freezer and refrigerator for the next year and they have always come up the next year. Thanks so much for sharing this awesome family time with us. have a great day. God Bless!!!

I use a 1 1/4" PVC pipe about 4.5 ft long with a can taped to one side(at top of pipe), the put corn in the can and place pipe in the furlough and drop a piece of corn , its a cheap, easy way to plant corn without bending over. the corn falls right where you want it to lift pipe and plant the next,,,,easy peasy will work for peas and beans as well as any larger seed.

I found out earlier this year after contacting the seed supplier you recommended, that it is illegal to sell Roundup ready sweet corn for use outside of the USA. Can’t buy it in Canada or get it shipped from the US and is apparently illegal to bring across the border because it’s not approved by Ag Canada. I ended up ordering some from a seed dealer in Michigan and had to travel across to get it, then repackage it to bring it back. It’s a sad state of affairs when you need to break the law just to try a different type of corn.....

Actually the world is watching the great American GMO experiment in terms of health issues and is taking a long term wait and see. They of not buy into the "sound science" buzzword that thinks is adequate to shutdown all debate. Do your independent research and you will see that the science is very limited, more to the conclusion that will work to bring an animal up to production weight . In effect good enough to take an animal to market. In human terms that would be 14 to 17 years of age. After that the "sound science " does not follow through on how well an organism will do for a lifespan measured in decades. Consider yourself lucky you have a government that has not been totally bought, at least as far as sweet corn goes.

Hey Tim & Katriel. Where would you recommend getting the best price for, a Jack the Ripper and a trailer hitch like you have for your 1025r without it costing a fortune? I’d like to put in underground sprinklers for one, and I’d like to just connect to my trailer to mow, without having to jump up & down to connect it. I’m an amputee so this looks easier on me. Thanks so much and as always... Great videos and pls keep them coming. 👍🏼✌🏼

Hey Tim and Katriel. If you two know of anyone looking for a like new John Deere 1025r with attachments please let me know if you don’t mind helping a Veteran out? Please and thanks. I greatly appreciate it. I can get info to you, somehow without giving out our personal. Thanks again. I’m having to have 4 surgeries one right after another, and being an amputee is hard enough getting on and off. Has been modified so if you know of a right leg amputee, they can drive it. Word of mouth would be great, just over two years old with 94+ hours on it bc I still have to use to mow my lawn. Used on my one acre property. Always garage storage, including all attachments. All dealer maintained & serviced. Remaining warranty on it. Fully loaded. Was a dealer showroom model, so was inside dealership. Some tires still have nipples. I really don’t want to get rid of my tractor, bc I love everything about it being a TLB and more... But my body is telling me different. But anyone can buy and use it. Thanks. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸

Tractor Time with Tim Thanks Tim. I do. I love my tractor. It’ll be extremely hard to see it go, but in order for me to get up and on it... I have to use both bad shoulders(right one surgery next month), and only one good leg left at about 70% now for overcompensating for over 10 yrs now, I have to do like a few toe raisers and lift with both shoulders just to jump up on to it. To get off, I have to jump off a little and use my shoulders so not to land so hard on my only good foot & leg. Wears out fast Plus crutching and wherlchairing. Hasn’t been easy at all. My mind says one thing, but the body you know says another.

Hi, I am relatively a new viewer and your daughter looks to be my youngest daughters age. Our daughter is 19 and in her second year at the university...sorry if I am a bit vague but because of what my daughter is going into I have to be very cautious of what I say she's going into stuff that I can't brag about...lol
Anyhow your daughter is a cutie and must be really smart like our daughter to go to a school like Purdue. Our daughter chose the best school for the field she's going into unfortunately I'm not allowed to talk about it all I can say is she'll need a security clearance to do her job...lol
Currently we are really enjoying seeing our youngest and dreading the fall semester because she will be leaving us once again....damn I hate seeing my kids growing up....I really miss being the center of their world.
God Bless, I know the pain of seeing the babe growing up....very hard to accept sometimes.... especially when it comes to young men..😡....lol

Refer to last year’s potato video. We discuss the length of feet. Scientific study says this doesn’t matter. Always the length of your foot, no matter how large your feet are :-)
