    Now! More confused just talk to Deere service at Newberry Indiana and according to parts manual for my 54" mower on a 2020 1025R load and go does work....I don't know who to believe I have a bad heart and this is a main reason I am ordering this...

    • @TractorTimewithTim

      Both of us are correct...if you can believe that!
      The confusion is that Deere hasn’t started producing what they call 2020 units yet.
      ...the ones using the. Same deck as the 2025r!
      I tried to avoid talking about this, as like you say, it just adds to the confusion.
      If you rewatch the video, note how specifically I say ...no 1025r which is out or available today....
      I can’t say a model year because many folks THINK they have purchased a 2020 model.
      Truth is, these are still 2019 models.
      Probably mid June before the 2025r compatible deck on 1025r rolls off the line.

      I found this this morning on 1025r Facebook group Tim thought maybe be interesting knowing what year it is. Deere Year identification!!!!!!!
      Tim Beranek 10th digit in a 17 digit VIN. John Deere uses the same number / letter codes to identify the model year as the auto industry does. YWIA

      Apparently there is no load-n-go attachment for the 60D mid-mount mower that fits a 2038R. There is one for the 72D version but not the smaller 60D. It's hard to understand why!

    • @TractorTimewithTim
      @TractorTimewithTim  4 роки тому

      You are correct. It all has to do with fitment. The width of the mowers and the construction of the mowers make some of the fitment more difficult. At least this is my assumption.

    • @roybaughman306
      @roybaughman306 4 роки тому

      Since I last wrote things have changed!lol load n go would not work on a 54" so I went with a 60 " with load n go ..I had to cut a groove in my Ken's bolt on step because every time I raise deck it would hit bottom of step..I cut half inch groove on front of step and now works just fine....

    Last year when you did your video on the Load -N-Go I immediately ordered mine for my 60D and 1025R. It was the best improvement I've made! It fit perfectly and made changing my blades a snap. Until then it was a back breaking process for me to sharpen or change the blades. I have had some issues with it vibrating the bolts loose no matter how much I tighten them. Next time I work on the blades I'll be putting them back with some Loc-tite.

    Tim, I have the Frontier 5ft loader mounted plow on my 1025R, I have the same problem with the weld around the pin. I completely agree, there's no reason they can't weld the back side and either not weld the front or just have a small weld to avoid interference.

    Great Video- FYI- I created a "load and go for the 2038R 60D mowing deck. I have about $170.00 in it. My idea does NOT stay on the mower. Basically, I had 2 pins welded on the mower deck. Next, I purchase a "loader mounting plate"- drilled two holes for the pins- then had welded two flat plate steel on loader plate to catch where the tractor "catches" the mower deck. It work great. This idea I believe would work on any of these mower decks. I would add pictures of this- but I don't know how to attach them to u tube.

    2/3 through "box full of kitty" in the background. Too funny. My Fluffy LOVES a good empty box or a piece of paper on the floor. Hilarious to watch her try to fit all of her 8 pounds on a letter size piece of paper.New kitty named Kitty (not known for creative names over here) has laid claim to all of the cat toys:that Fluffy ignored UNTIL Kitty wanted to play with them. Fluffy is about 8 and Kitty was just adopted and I would guess right around a year old.True joy to have them around.You put a lot of research into the deck info: good job and nice of you to do that.

    Great info as always. Thanks for breaking down the models. Much simpler than the parts catalog. And totally agree with Tim about the lock&lube grease gun tip. But the pneumatic grease gun is much cheaper than battery. A little less portable but 10x better than manual gun. And hopefully there will be load & go for 1025R before I find my old VCR so I can view this “taping” on the big screen. Love you guys. Keep it up.

    I have metric and imperial ratchet flats myself. I have hard metric and imperial opens and a nice set of long box ends. I can only tell the boxes from all the rest - unless I search and read. Fyi - I was able to get my mover deck off my 1025R - after 'mowing' a T bar! - turned it into an S shaped T bar - useful for scrap only. I was mowing some pea vines growing up against a wall and getting caught (snagging) - it pulled the deck in a rotation angle and then I could get it moving and able to drop it!

I didn't buy the belly mower as I have a JD 375R ztrak for my mowing and thought i would buy a 3 point hitch finish mower if i wanted to use the tractor for mowing. Hey Tim,
    Brand new owner of a 1025R, we got a 2022 model year with loader and D60. I requested Load-n-go from the dealer and they installed everything and dropped it off last Friday. I noticed my old drive over brackets still had the silver alignment guide attached, the other side had the plastic pully cover attached and that pesky keep cover from spinning self-taping screw. So I called my dealer and they said "They followed the instructions", sure enough the installation instructions do not move the alignment silver rod, nor the chute side pully cover. So I looked and the mounting holes are there on the load-n-go for the alignment rod so I transferred it to the load-n-go. I don't see where it will hit any pulleys or cause any issues. Have you any experience with the 2022 Load-N-Go? Being a newbee to the D60 connect and disconnect I wanted the alignment aid.
    Also Thank you for your video's they helped me in the decision between subcompacts. My old 54" Cub Cadet Zero Turn is getting tired and I have a bunch of lawn to mow and other honey do projects on our 5 acres.

    I'm in negotiations with JD for a brand new 2020 1025r which I'm excited as it'll be my first real tractor. I have a question regarding how to raise the cutting deck high enough off the ground to access the underside of the deck for installation of the Load and Go? I noticed you have a lift to be able to work on the deck but for someone like myself with no lift, what is the easier and safest way to raise the deck off the floor to install the Load and Go? Thanks and you have a new subscriber. Cheers!

      With the loader and mower on the tractor, lower it to the ground...lift the front wheels (and therefore the mower deck) off the ground...
      Make sense?
      That is one of many ways.
      Or just tip it up by hand...stand it on edge.

    would be nice to see if anybody has any workarounds for the 54D decks without load n go. I contacted JD's via e-mail and their solution was to buy the 60" deck but as one of your veiwers said the 54" deck can cut in some tighter places and the 60 in deck doesn't . there are lots of places on the deck to attach hooks. 2 hooks on the front of the deck will allow you to view the underside, and with a 4 point chain hook system you can lift it onto a pallet then move it where ever. BTW Tim, you suggestion for pallet forks as a must have attachment was bang on. i use them all the time, they are great !

    More confusion. I went online to order a grease gun from the lube shuttle website. It tells you that you need to pick a region to best order from. Just one problem.... Alabama and Tennessee are in region 6 while Arkansas and Louisiana are listed in Region 7. Mississippi isn’t even listed... lol.

    I would think that John Deere has probably sold a boat load of 1025r. Maybe more units than most of there other models combined. And they don’t have a load n go for that model. Is the technical difficulties just to great to overcome or did they just screw up a great chance to sell to all the 1025 owners an attachment that would be a game changer? Wow.

    I am considering buying a mcs20 material collection system but dealer says the load and go prevents attaching/detaching the power flow belt on the mower pulley, and after watching this video I can see that would be the case. However, I wonder if it would be easy to detach the load and go then attach the power flow pulley,,, and then reattach the load and go while the mower deck is attached to the tractor?... Thoughts?

      I suggest you buy the TerraKing tkv20. Made by the same folks who make the Deere MCS, but has a PTO driven fan which works better than the power flow.
      We have several videos showing it in action.
      Get a 5% discount when you order from terraking.com (via phone) when you mention TTWT!
      This unit IS compatible with the load n go.

      @wcnecaise 4 роки тому

      @@TractorTimewithTim ...TY Tim. I like the tkv20, and I requested a few quotes on it, but even the lowest priced quote is too high for me by quite a bit. I’m sure there are quite a few tractor owners that are able and willing to pay the price for the tkv20, but I also think that if tk lowered the price point, they could sell quite a few more units and quite likely would increase their profit, even if their margin shrunk some... increased volume would more than offset reduced margin... but increased volume might also lead to lower cost to manufacture?... so their margin might not shrink much/any?
      I have looked for a used tkv20, but have not found one yet. Would u happen to know of any used ones that are for sale and in good condition?
      In the meantime, do you think it would be pretty easy for me to detach/reattach the load and go while the mower deck is attached to the tractor... that would allow me to use the mcs20 with the load and go... and the mcs20 is within my budget. TY
