I remember my mom getting mad at me cause i learnt a few things from garret and started killing random speakers haha but damn good old days. I learnt and found hobbies from garret because i now i play the drums and I'm a lighting designer. oh and also still blowing speakers and destroying stuff sometimes.
Do Hilti-dealers have to follow the same policy in Canada as in the EU? - If your Hilti whatever 9000 burns out or fails, and you've "got" it from somewhere, that thing is worthless, unless you can repair it yourself. Take that thing to a dealer or service point without proof of purchase and it's gone. They claim you a thief without pushing charges, but disowning you from the device unless you can provide a receipt or registration. So happened to an older TE-5 A drill I took to the shop for new brushes. Was a gift from a friend and i wanted to continue using it, as it was awesome. In anger, i switched to BTI (Milwaukee clone).

For a second it sounded like a gas powered chainsaw. I looked again and saw that it had a cable attached to it so that’s indeed an electric motor straining everything thing it has got until it’s last breath
