Violin MD What made you want to attend Medical School? It’s such a big carreer change from Violin! Also I bet I’m not the only one wanting to see some more of you playing the violin, it’s such a peaceful instrument! How do you get through a 24 hour shift with so little sleep? If I sleep less than 8 hours my brain stops functioning 😂
Who would give her videos a dislike? I honestly and truly fail to find a single bad thing about her and hope more people see her videos to get motivation and inspiration. Such a beautiful and positive role model!
I've just been binge watching your videos for the last few days and they're so interesting! I'm an aspiring doctor and your videos give me such an insight into the medical world (although slightly different as I live in England). Not only are they interesting, they're also very relaxing and calming to watch - thank you so much for making them!
It's funny, if someone described this channel to me, I would definitely not think of it as something I'd be into. But I saw the Creator on the Rise post yesterday and decided to check it out. To my surprise, these videos are super interesting (and well-made)! Keep up the good work!
I’ve only recently come across your channel & being a student who’s one week from being a qualified nurse, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying your content. It’s great to see the medicine side of things and what you deal with on a day-to-day basis in comparison to a nurse’s day! You’re doing an incredible job!
My question: What are some pet peeves of yours about the nurses? Maybe not in a negative way but I know, as a nurse, I have pet peeves about doctors (not all, but certain ones 😂). But I think it would be interesting to see the other side. As a side note...I love your channel, I'm so glad I found it!
I'm not a medical student/wanting to pursue any kind of career in that field but I LOVE these vlogs, I'm addicted! Thanks so much for sharing and congrats on creator on the rise - I love the insight that you give us into what it's like to be a doctor! :)
I love watching your vlogs. It’s such a change of pace from the traditional ones you usually see. I find it interesting watching behind the scenes. I live with chronic illness and can appreciate all the hard work you put in for your patients
I am a retired RN who worked 20 years in Critical Care. I would not have the stamina of course now but I loved the “team” approach to the patients. It was so rewarding. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy following you.
Remember how I said I spend a lot of time in the hospital? Ive been here since last sunday this time. I find myself laughing a little now though when the nurse talks about paging my doctor etc because i have so much more insight now lol. I even showed your channel to a couple of my nurses!!
I literally found your channel only yesterday thanks to YT's creator on the rise. I IMMEDIATELY subscribed. I start my internship in 2 years and I honestly can't wait. Thank you so much for posting these videos. :D
I’m a special education major & don’t have any interest in being a doctor myself but I enjoy your videos so much & I feel like I’ve learned so much by watching them. Keep making videos!!😊
I'm a paramedic student and I'm doing my clinicals right now and I have to say, you are one of my favorite medical UA-camrs. You're so positive, it's contagious and I get so excited to go back to the hospital to do more clinicals!
Congratulations! Im so proud of how well your channel is going. I am a nurse who works on a acute/rehab medical ward and absolutely love my job but sometimes feel like i struggle with juggling home life and work life so i would love to see what a normal day in the life outside of hospital generally is like for you if maybe you were looking for video ideas. Much love from Australia ♡
Siobhan, your personality is stunning ❤️ such a beautiful human, lovely smile and attitude, keep it up! I admire your work and the way you seem to handle everything 😊
I'm a nurse in a teaching hospital, and it has been really helpful for me to see what the nights are like from the resident's perspective. Thanks for your quality videos and positive attitude!
I can’t believe I found your channel! I have wanted to be a reconstructive surgeon for as long as I can remember. I am currently a sophomore in college, 20 years old, and an EMT in LA. And obviously planning to go to medical school and continue my path! I also have played the viola for 17 years!! I’m so excited to binge watch your videos☺️☺️
Its a treat to look at your videos, keep up the hard work. I love how you pummel through the "24 hour" call shifts, and try to keep your points in mind when I deal with my own job.
I love your videos so much. I'm a political science major but I'm also taking the required classes for medical school and I'm hoping I can use my unique major to my advantage. You inspire me so much and I'm so glad I found your channel!
I just found your channel and I'm hooked! I've flown through your videos and am fascinated. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome type 3 and have navigated through our system (I'm in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) so I love seeing it from your point of view! Thank you for your passion in medicine and always wanting to learn. Thank you for what you do!
I’m a high schooler and I want to be either in emergency medicine or an anesthesiologist. Your videos help me so much in realizing how my dream will become a reality. I love how you vlog in the hospital and you’re so real about it. I just love watching these videos and I hope you do more in the future!!!!! Thank you!!!
As a medical coder for a group of general surgeons and cardiologist I am LOVING seeing what it’s like in the hospital. Reading transcribed notes all day isn’t quite the same.
I love the insights into the life of a medical resident as well as what’s going on at a hospital. Though I’d love to see more of what’s going on and what you do, sort of a more detailed version of what you are doing, if at all possible. I’m studying to be a PA.
I'm new to the channel! I just wanted to say that I'm currently in undergrad school working my way slowly to med school and I've gotten into a rut here recently. You've inspired me to keep going! Thank you ma'am! Keep up the great content!
Good for you! Don't ever apologize for putting your patients and yourself first. Anything you have time or energy to share with us is appreciated, but never at the expense of the above😀
I am a relatively new subscriber but I just wanted to say I absolutely love your channel and content! Your personality is infectious and you can really tell how much passion you have for your work! Congratulations on the spotlight from UA-cam, you deserve it!!
My sister is a also an medicine resident and she is really secretive about her life. It is the first time I can picture myself how a day in her life can be, this video is very precious, thank you so much!
I am a counselor who recently graduated with a bachelors degree in behavioral science.. after studying mental health for so long, it’s nice to see the medical aspect of health! I love your videos!
Is it crazy that I always watch your videos when I'm supposed to be doing homework or studying. I have a huge Biology test monday and your videos always make me get up and study. 😂😫 Thank you!
Congrats on creator on the rise! You definitely deserve it! I just found your channel earlier this week and am obsessed. I went back and watched all of your past videos.
Congratulations on Creator on the Rise!!! I found your channel a few weeks ago, but I saw you on the Creator on the Rise yesterday and I was so happy! My question is do you know if you want to work in a hospital or a private practice after your residency? Also do you speak any other languages? I've had some medical issues myself and have had a lot of doctors, but I love your positive energy and passion you have for what you do! I'm in high school now, but I love to see what it's like from a doctor's point of view! Thank you for what your doing!
Your videos are so energetic and you seem like a happy and positive person :) I get happy when watching your videos. Greetings from a soon-to-be doctor from Europe :)
I can’t believe how fast your channel has grown!! I remember watching your first video four months ago and now you have over 29k subs! thanks so much for always bringing out amazing videos :)
I love your videos! I am a 3rd year university student in Canada hoping to go to medical school! It's so cool seeing a fellow Canadian's experience in medicine. Now I know what to look forward to.
I think that depends on which medical school you want to go to. Some medical schools have specific science and non-science requirements/pre-requisite courses, but for the most part you can pretty much study anything in undergrad. Most pre-med students take biomedical sciences or biology of some sort so they get the basic science knowledge and pre-requisites. General consensus is: do what you love in undergrad and make sure you have the pre-requisite courses! Hope that helps :)
Congratulations on being featured by you tube! I used to be a nurse before I became sick and I love watching your videos it fulfills the medical side of me that misses it all! I love your videos and how cheerful you are and how much you love your job it’s so lovely to see!
I stumbled upon this channel yesterday because of the creator on the rise and I am so happy I did! I subscribed right away! I love how you are so calming and wonderful! You do an amazing job not only with your job but also with balancing violin and exercise and so much more! You are also so beautiful! My question for the Q&A is: How do you balance all of the things in your life? Is it difficult? What are some tips for other people that need to balance a bunch of their things in life? Once again I Love your videos keep it up!!!
I love how you are such a positive person. You seem like you really have a love and passion for what you do! LOVE watching your videos! Keep up the great work!
I love your channel sooo much, it gives me soo much motivation - and i am going to take a new path to become a doctor, so this gives me soo much hope and that its never too late to go after what you love and enjoy!
I really enjoy your vlogs. :) I also appreciated you sharing a bit of what the patients had and what you were dealing with. I found your vlog so interesting. Hope you had a good sleep.
Congrats on on creator on the rise, I feel like your channel will be the new reality greys anatomy. Fellow junior doctor in here, really impressed with your vibes, I think internal medicine doctors have a bit easier shifts than the surgical residents. You look very energetic in the video, for me I feel like a zombie by the end of the on call. Or may be it’s just the NHS that drains the life out of the junior doctors.
