I know I’m 2 years late, but how is the kit holding up if your friend still has this truck? I bought a lowered Ram for my son and it had the Belltech 2/4 drop. Only thing that I’ve noticed is that it shakes side to side going 70-75. Did your friend have same problem? I’ll check the Srt 22” viper wheels as it didn’t shake as much with factory 20’s. I’m thinking about getting the IHC relocation brackets to see if that helps but really don’t want to play $400 just in case that’s not the problem. Thanks in advance.
Nice video brother! I just bought a truck that is already dropped looks like a 5/7 drop but they just cut the springs I wanna go with the 2/4 drop kit from Belltech did you cut the springs from Belltech ?
When dropping the rear of the vehicle more than 2” inches and not replace the rear shocks and if you hit a large bump or your rear end fully extents, you run the risk of your coil springs failing out of place or worse falling out completely. Those lowered/shorter shocks are designed not only to give a more sport and controlled feel to the truck, but also keeps the rear coil springs from falling out and over extending your rear axle.
Hey brother I’m planning on getting one soon, is there anything I should look out for when buying one? Maybe any common problems? Any advice would be appreciated thank you brotha
No, the stock shocks would be bottomed out all the time, and the ride wouldn't be good at all. Just get lowering shocks and the ride would be so much better and shocks would work as they should
I installed this same exact kit, just springs and shocks all around but my problem is that I can hear a loud noise when I’m coasting to stop or when I’m driving over bumpy roads, the sound comes from the rear suspension and sounds like the springs are loose as if they are not placed correctly.I’ve doubled check everything and everything is snug tight. Any one know ??
Great video brother
Tbh I think that’s a 2/5 or 2/6 the rear is pretty low which is 🔥🔥but I notice the rear springs are cut
Bell tech only offers 2/4
@@rollin1869Ik but if u look closely when he showed the springs they are cut
Do you need an alignment once you’re done ?

@@JO-bz6rf It's holding up, still see it driving it around. Never had a problem with vibrations. You can add a rear sway bar to help

Are you in Texas if you are I got a 2019 ram 5th gan that I’ need work done to it and I wanted to see if you can help out
Is to recommend to replace the shocks as well? Or could you just do the lowering springs ?
I'm pretty sure you could get away with just doing the springs, but I would recommend doing the proper shocks to get the best results

Not really, beltech kit is pretty solid. I know that the 305 tires were rubbing in the rear when hitting a bump

Aye bro is it cool if i just install lowering rear springs like 3 inch lowering or 4 inch and keep the same rear stock shocks ?

What is the cost to lower a truck?? I have a 2013 dodge ram 1500 laramie long horn and would love to lower it I just received my 20inch rims
Well the kit ranges from 4 to 6 hundred depending on the kit, and labor is any where from 4 to 8 hundred just depends where you go
yo i’m doing that drop on mine with 305/45/22, u think the rubbing would be bad ? thanks
How did it end up ? I’m going 305 40 22 on mine , gonna drop it on the 29th of this month
Did u need rear control arms for this drop?
No you don't need them, the drop is not that aggressive
What kit was that bro ?
Beltech 2/4 drop
Is the truck 4x4 or 2wd

If you in Fl I can, but its going to be a while
What size tires are those?
The truck had 305/45R20 and it rubbed a little on the rear wheel well liner when it hit a bump
