Till couldn't sing the full line of the chorus- let me see you stripped down to the bone- his tone is too low so it became let me see you stripped. The video caused controversy because of its origins but curiously enough they chose images of the influence of propaganda for a song that asks propaganda to me out aside by the listener. But they only did this for aesthetic reasons and not for National Socialist reasons, as was exaggerated by the media. Anyone who allows themselves to be persuaded that there are political limitations to art has nothing to do with art. Leni Riefenstahl is considered by many to be the founder of the documentary genre. And not without reason! Any politicization has no place here!
i am a bit late ... its intresting to see that you get the message but you cant get all the meaning and poetry in this video. The video footage is from a Nazi Movie made by Leni Riefestahl ... the most gifted female director on the planet to that time. She was nazi and until today she is still nazi( she is still alive). I think she let the Nazis pay for the first womens porn in history. She was ruthless ... and gifted. btw ... Depeche Mode is still pissed that Rammstein made a better song out of this ( ... i think they have a private battle with the piano guy) They tried to cover f.e. "Mein Teil" ... twice.
