Ouah! Once again a great video of you two Matt and your friend with a lot of tactics and excitement and experiments but what a refreshing view and comments as we are in the heat wave in North Carolina! Thanks again for sharing, God bless you all and your family and friends!
@ 9:00, ditch the sling in the blind. I learned this many years ago, having the sling flip over the barrel and cover the rib. No need for the sling until you leave or when going after wounded birds. Take it off.
@@HighPrairieSportsmen I'm sure you now get it. Just a true story to make my point. A Buddy & I get a big flock of Mallards decoying in. As we get up to shoot, my Buddy catches his Benelli's bolt handle on his waders, unlocking the bolt out of battery. As I come up to shoot, I hear the benelli CLICK, he doesn't shot. I pick out 3 Drake mallards and get a triple. I pick up the 3 birds. Two of the three drakes are banded and one of the Drakes has a $100.00 reward band. You never know when you're going to make the" once in a lifetime " shot. Having the sling flip over the barrel, you'll never know if that was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
That last bird must have had scorched feathers from re-entering the atmosphere. Missing super close birds drives me crazy. I think it's because i lift my head. Thanks for the video.
Yeah I also made the switch back to only fills. Ran only 10dz last spring and didn’t get skunked once and about 80% of those hunts were running traffic.
@@HighPrairieSportsmen I had no idea. I watch all the videos I can and ask questions when I don't know. Trying to learn as much as possible so I thank you for the response!

It was a fun one
Dude that was awesome 👍
Nice to be able to do a 2 man ,small spread snow goose hunt successfully! thanks!
Appreciate it!

Appreciate it. Right there with you. Frustrating to miss them at five-ten yards
It's amazing that there are so many bird friends in your country. maybe it would be good if it was in the net🤣 greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩
Hello from America!
And that’s exactly why I sold everything that isn’t a full body. Solid work fellas! Only 9 more months.
Realistic spread, good hide, and perfect weather is all you need

Muy facinantes lances de cazeria amigos saludos chevre caza
Gracias!
Nice!
Thanks!
Love your videos man. I know you prob use lots of chokes but if you could only have one for the year what constriction would u choose
Thanks! I'd probably got with a mod.
Sweet deal on the last day.
Thanks Cooper!
How has that stoeger treated you?
It's worked great. Has an occasional loading issue with 3 1/2" shells but I rarely use those. Feeds shorter ones no problem.
hi from UK. is it Steel shot and what load and shot size please. what chokes do you use too? i.. what constriction? thanks
Yes, steel shot 2s and BBs, assorted brands. I was using a Carlson's Long Range choke (full-extra full constriction)
@@HighPrairieSportsmen many thanks
What kinda call is he using it sounds amazing?

Anyone else notice that was a blue phase Ross hybrid!?
No... 😥
Sure looked like one , I’ve got one like it on the wall.
I noticed that too. I got one in the freezer from this spring
That was a blue rossie!
He was a stud
@@HighPrairieSportsmen very rare nice man!
just curious, do you not have a 3 shell max for when shooting? seeing you spend 5-6 rounds and I thought that was a no no.
@@toddthebod22 no plugs required during conservation season.

@toddthebod22 no problem!
curious - how many shells in each gun? 5? Perhaps its ok in your area
Mine holds 11. No limit during conservation snow season
@@HighPrairieSportsmen fair enough thanks
Отличная охота 👍
Но я скучаю по 28 калибру😊
Thanks! It'll be back soon
No plug required?
Not during conservation season
I was initially thought wow we are not allowed to have more than 3 rounds in our gun and realized it is different in Canada than here in the states.
This was in the US
Taking your sling off your gun is a good way to prevent you from raising your gun or having the sling flop over your barrel.
@@deanbheffelfinger2829 👍🏻
Must be nice to bang away with no plug lol
