Hey Hannah! You are seriously my inspiration, ever since you got Harley I literally fell in love with that horse, haha. Are you accepting friend requests? When I asked you last week you said you were saving a spot for your friend but the other day my online friend (the amount of times I say friend is annoying, I know) said she friended you and I felt unwelcomed... Anyway, I loved the video, its so sweet, and I could relate to it in real life, I broke my thumb, but the experience was a blast!

Just a quick trick-a lot if the time, beginner jumpers trot jumps IRL. You can kinda do this in SSO. Trot to the jump, canter at the last second, then jump. If you do it right, it should look like you never took a canter stride. It takes a lot of practice, but it’s worth it in my opinion! Sometimes I just trot jumps over and over just because I can ahaha, good luck with Harley and your jumping!

Great job! Harley is defiantly gorgeous although you may need to work on his cautions it’s good that he knows that your there but it’s not good that he is very very cautious, beautiful markings gorgeous chestnut colour, good confidence when you fell of I think Harley was picking up on your nerves good job on getting back on and trying :) I think Harley and you look great together while jumping or in general I think you chose the best horse for Maggie was pretty but to barn sour,alphelo was to skittish so I think you chose the best horse possible INCREDIBLE ROLEPLAYONG HANNAH!!!!! 😘😉

The reason he doesn’t move, or throw his head when you tighten his girth is because his saddle fits him perfectly! And he really likes it! Check to make sure the other horses saddles fit them if you don’t want the to move, throw there head or be uncomfortable! I 💖💖💖 you btw

Not sure if this is actual advice or not, but it doesn’t really have anything to do with saddlefit! Some horses are girthy simply because they don’t like having the girth tightened. If they aren’t standing still then you j have to work on keeping them patient and still. I’d do that by tightening the girth little by little and correcting any movement until it’s completely snug (cross ties really help!). If they’re being aggressive (biting or kicking up with their back legs) then give them a smack! Aggressive behavior should never be tolerated! Of course ruling out pain should be the first step, but once that’s ruled out and the horse still shows aggression when cinching up, smack them for lashing out and have a warning signal for when they pin their ears and look like they are going to try something. For my gelding I snap my fingers when he gets like that and he knows. Some people j say “No!” too, whatever floats your boat😂 for the overly dramatic cinchy horses I’d keep a crop on hand j in case!

Fun Fact: That Chestnut Trake is one of my favorite horses, because I love chestnuts. I don't like how they changed every gait but the canter. The only thing that people were annoyed about was the sliding trot.

LunarWolf94 No it’s totally fine!!! Flat is basically a show based upon your equitation and how you and your horse work as a team!! The announcer will call out what gate they want you in and then you get judged on that! 💛
