OK, you got me! My first time ever looking at coins. I found a 1949 wheat penny in a jar of coins at my parents house. I just bought 2 rolls of wheat pennies from the Golden Coast hoard. Keep your fingers crossed! I'll let you know what I find! ☺
Coin tv is excellent place to buy your unsearched coins. I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised by my orders. No big money tickets yet but I always come out ahead then what I paid!👍🏻😄
I just found your channel the other day. I like you already. I have a small collection of coins, wheat pennies, steel pennies, a few 1883 & 1884 nickels, Indian head pennies, dimes, and blue and red (I think they're called rations bits?), And a few 1942 quarters. I used to have a much larger collection but someone broke into my house and stole many items and my coin collection was in a fireproof safe that was inside an obscure box but they must've found the box interesting enough to steal. Pissed me off. Not because of the possible value but because my grampa helped me find most of my coins, and the best ones, I didn't even know he had, he saved for me, and left them to be given to me after he passed away. I find it fun to go through coins, it's relaxing. I don't know if I'd sell a very pricey one. Not at first. I'd want to see if it would increase even more in value. I sure could use a high dollar value coin, but still... I'd probably sit on it for awhile.
You've inspired me to start my own coin collection, it's a hobby now, and its amazing! Looking through different coins and finding different ones i've never seen is exiciting! Thank you and good luck on your journey! 💰😊
That's fantastic, Alice! Just don't waste your money on purchasing these sort of rolls. They want you to believe that your brilliant find is just around the bend in your next roll that you unravel. News flash! It isn't coming. Your best bet is simply to purchase boxes of coins from your bank. It's easy and very inexpensive to get your own business set up. They say the coins are unsearched but between the penny rolls and the silver dollar rolls, seems they have been well sorted according to value and you are not going to get ahead by purchasing, but buying these rolls would be a fun & educational gift for a child to sort through & learn about coin collecting.
There is absolutely NO doubt that the coins in these rolls have not been thoroughly searched and anything of significant value removed. I bought 8 bags of 2500 each wheat cents for a total of 20,000 wheat cents. I found about 500 of bright red mint state condition cents in the first 4 bags along with a few hundred 1944 with alot of the 44 doubled obverse. And alot of 1946 with the 4 almost missing. And smaller than other 1946 cents. Like it was reponched. But a few days later I came home from work and found almost all my coin collection I had been building for 45 years stolen. I have about 5000 wheat cents left I have not looked through yet. I had 1 muled sacagewea quarter and 2 manganese transitional quarters along with a 1969 and 1955 double die. Altogether I had about 2000 coins in my collection. Half of them pre 1964 and 1/4 in the 1800. All gone. So for the good news . I am actively searching again. I did find a 1983 cent that is missing all the letters on the front but the Y in liberty and the word trust. So it says Y Trust. Looks untamppeted . Have anyone else seen one of these.

Where can I find the info about coin tv?
I have 3, 5 gallon tubs full of pennies. I am definitely going to pull them out and look
Definitely do so as you could have some valuable ones, Indica Girl. Whatever you do, do NOT waste your money on buying rolls that have already been inspected..........like what these Gold Coast people are hawking.
I bought alot of these rolls..got a steel 44....and many other 1944s....1 1944 looks like a proof.
Do I need to send these off to grade them ?!
I have a 1953 D just like that and it's magnetic. Is it worth anything?
Awesome 👌
As you say hopefully I find a key date or something valuable that one penny that you just put down has a small clip in it
Is there an average going rate for a whole roll of wheat pennies
This is so cool
There Is a close double die obverse for the 1958 cent I found, but there is nothing I can find about that exact double die cent on the internet.
Where do I go to get that your paint the wheat pennies
12:44 there's extra copper slag inside the O in the word one cent thats going across (/) kind of like this
Are the steel ones worth anything
That 44 with the small date look's like it is a DDO with a rotated die, Lincoln image is off a little to the right and a possible. Shadow of a previous first week strike or Double strike like a mule error strike or a double or re striike on the same Planchet.
I bought 5 rolls. I blame YOU Uugh 3rd penny was a 1909 vdb lol had 1 in coin holder now I got 1 in my book nice coin.
