Another good line up of error coins, Shaun. Thanks for showing/discussing the errors that most of us are likely to find in our searches thru coin rolls. I hope things are going well for you, and your loved ones. Have a good weekend, buddy.✌
😂❤🎉 I just put all my coins away....but always saved 85 and below pennys 😊🧐 I wish I had the stamina to bag and tag these for sales 😂 its so difficult to sell varieties 😅 have 150 ddo/ddr penny's Love these videos
I have a 1972 dollar coin it's an Eisenhower proof now I would like to have it graded, should I grade it while it's still in the plastic container or should I take it out of the container and send it off for grading?
I have a 1972 that looks like it might be a proof coin and it doesn’t have any scratches or cut or anything like that to take away from it’s original shape and design it’s exceptionally shiny and I believe that I also have a 1972 s penny in the same condition
Hi Shawn. I’m new at coin hunting. About 20 years I bought 8 books from an estate sale. They are from 1941-1974 Lincoln Penny set. Is there anything in these books. I have 3 1943 steel Pennies that are still silver Where do I go from here? Thank You
Hey Shaun I'm the VDBV seller featured in your video. I'd be willing to send you one of these free to examine. Mike Diamond did a writeup for coin world on these last week. Get in touch.
Hello Sean I love your videos been watching you for a couple months now definitely look forward to all your content Tommy quite a bit I've only been the coin collection for a couple months now and definitely enjoy your content I have some things I'd like to show you some pictures but I cannot figure out how to put a picture on here give me any ideas I have some pretty cool stuff you might like to look at and give me some
Question that I have a hard time getting a good answer on… how do you know the difference between an RPM and doubling? The one you showed (1985?) I would have believed either RPM or it was doubling. So how do we know for sure. Thanks
Wow! amazing. I saw a 1922 Liberty Peace Dollar sell for 80K on Pawn Star from a guy who won it in a poker game. Someone got an excellent buy on that one
I wish I had a wall poster or sizable table mat listing key dates and varieties to look for. I have a notebook with no many pages filled so with many notes that are sometimes redundant and scattered wish is less than ideal versus having some kind of grid layout for reference arranged in columns by denomination each with rows of key dates and varieties for easy quick reference so one doesn't have to dig though pages of notes or get sucked into an online rabbit hole. Yes the cherry pickers guide is a great reference too I GF course but I try to memorize and remember many possible when I need to but it's becoming a little too much sometimes you know? Besides Shaun, I don't know how anyone can remember so many attributes for each and every coin of every year generally spanning a range of over a hundred years?!
@@soggybottomgoldprospecting3586 It has gotten to the point where I'm examining just about every single coin I get every day under my USB microscope looking for varieties and errors... It's become kind of an obsession I think especially considering I often let cashiers at stores make change for me even though I often more than likely have the exact amount of coinage in my pocket! I don't want to spend any of them before I have a chance to go home and examine them all first! Lol 🧐
I check the tip jars and take a penny leave a penny. It’s like gold fever with coins. It has similar characteristics as drug addiction without the major consequences. Worst case scenario you saved some money. I found a 1970 s small date penny today and a odd 1942 s wheat the weights 2.03 grams and it didn’t look acid dipped or fountain coin any idea?
Hi im new to coin collecting and I have a couple questions. Where do I buy rolled coins at? Do I go to a bank and ask, if so, what do I ask for? My 2nd question is, how do I contact someone who would be able to tell me about a few pennies that I have? Ive got one that is missing several letters and a couple numbers, it definitely was made this way and not from wear and tear. Oh also how much is a penny supposed to weigh? I know thats a weird question, I apologize for asking, where I live there isn't anyone who can tell me anything. I appreciate your help and time, and I hope everyone has a blessed night.
An today while I was doing some work at someone else’s house in the process of moving junk around in the backyard on the cement I found a buffalo nickel an it’s sure had seen better day’s it’s pretty worn out can’t see the year an most of the surface of the coin is worn down but it’s still an awesome piece and find
Whats going on with coins that have been lightly struck 5,10, 13, anyway a lot of times, before final strick ,which leaves scraches and gorge marks around the coins. Do they have any value?
I am in southern Colorado have several very rare coins any advice on any buyes with integrity also who is in Colorado that dos grading trying to get a couple graded after i sell a few so i can put them in a action before christmas i have one copper penny and a dime that havnt been found yet thank you and love the show
Are all Liomiss wrapped coins from the mint I got a roll of new quarter's I thought but I found two state quarter's in it all the rest seemed to be close to non circulated??? I was happy just the same both the state quarter's had errors makes me wonder how that happened because they were in circulated condition unlike the other 38 coins in the roll
Lot 4 1958 pennies, 3 with no mint marks and 1 with a “d” on the obverse The 1958 with a little gloss left is clearly a “DDO on the DATE and on the reverse , the letters “ONE CENT” is much thicker than normal. The 1958 penny that sold for over a million dollars in January of this year, was probably normal because if it was thicker than normal the auction house would have noted and displayed it. I would say that the condition of these pennies are at least fine/extra fine and -as mentioned one retains a little of of its original gloss and I would grade it extra/fine++ 5,000. OBO
I got a bunch of coins I got a 1943 war nickel p,cracked in the middle and five cents on the in side help me sell it ,good price, got 1966 quarter looks new
So how do I get intouch with these guys that may be interested in buying som coins im not quite ready but i am working on getting my coins together here I've been collecting coins for years but i just stored them and I just figured i would mess with them when I was planning on selling them or some of them
You have helped me more than you could ever know in my sorting. Its been very overwhelming but because of you it makes it a little easier
