Haha... collecting (master sets) on a limited budget is 100% an area of concern for me, especially considering the number of sets published each year. Glad to see someone making budget-friendly content! And yeah, that Starmie V feels criminally under-priced.
Yeah that’s why I don’t try and master set every one - just my favorite sets.

I got into collecting about 2 months ago and always loved the trainer + pokemon duo art cards. Have been trying to get that starmie card for 33-35 on ebay since the start and was close a couple times, but noticed in the last week it had been hard jumping to 40-45. Now I know why .............. MY PRECIOUS 10$ HOW COULD YOU!!!!!!!!!! Anyway love this video, these card arts are some of my favorite as a budget collector so its cool seeing them get some attention (and also not cool cause theres still some I need) , I have a section in my binder with my favorite of these trainer pokemon arts surrounding the V Union Morpeko + Marnie Cards and I've always loved that page. Love this style of video!

There was no better feeling than seeing that silver border back when you would open late sword and shield cards. Trainer gallery cards were always never going to beat the alt arts to me. There are just too many alt arts and the print run needs to also be considered. I would be interested in seeing a video using the factor of low psa pop, scarcity of packs and Pokémon popularity for a list of 10 or so cards in the S&S block.

This information is really helpful! 3 weeks later and some of these cards are already jumping in a lot of value! Especially the Umbreon VMAX Pokemon TCG Brilliant Stars TG23/TG30 that card is already going for 60 bucks! I wish I saw this video earlier!😭

I don't know if this is just me, but I prefer the V alt arts and trainer gallery cards over the VMAX. I'm not sure if it's just the dynamax beams/clouds or how they feel awkward in the artwork to me, but just can't get past it
tbh i prefer the TG Umbreon V and Vmaxs over the Umbreon Alt Arts.
