Thank you for doing this tutorial Ellie. I've only now cut out my reindeer. I had no idea (pardon the pun) what the star piece was for but it makes perfect sense now. I have a nice quiet afternoon ahead before the family descend on me so I think I'll do a little peaceful sewing with maybe a hot chocolate and some Christmas music. Perfect.
