You need to listen to "Ramble On," and the rest of Led Zeppelin II. The whole album is an all-time classic, and "The Lemon Song" is an even more epic bass track. John Paul Jones is a great bass player.
This is what I was going to say. JPJ is the unsung member of Led Zeppelin. Tons of people, even a lot of non-musicians, know who Jimmy Page and John Bonham are, and Robert Plant is one of the most iconic rock vocalists ever. But how often do you hear about John Paul Jones? He's incredible on the bass and keys, and hell, he even wrote half of Zeppelin's catalog after Houses of the Holy. A crazy percentage of the amazing stuff from their later albums came from his pen. The other members of Led Zeppelin are crazy famous, and justifiably so, they've certainly earned it, but JPJ has, too.
@@FvkcUA-camCensorship Did he play the mandolin part on "Battle of Evermore?" I had thought that was Page, but that could have just been assumption on my part. Btw the Dance of Eternity is one of their songs that you hear the bass quite a lot. That song actually has a Bass solo in it, it's a pretty great song (the part he played is part of it).
I've listened to that album at least 50 times and I hearing that bass I wouldn't have even guessed that it's Dream Theater.
