Watching dude cook with machete made me smile. Some of the best meals I've ever eaten were humble foods cooked with a bowie knife on an open flame.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your videos Brodie! I live in North America right smack dab in the middle, Kansas to be exact. I am a full time graduate student and I have a year and a half left. I plan on doing something big after I graduate and I’ve only seen the ocean twice in my life. It’s been my life long dream to hunt for clams, crab, to deep sea fish and to catch fresh crayfish. I usually watch your videos in the morning and when I need a break from studying. For those who have only tasted tinned tuna, I guarantee it is a totally different taste. You can not recognise that they are the same fish. Fantastic Brodie And family.
I think generally fresh fish tastes soooo different than the fish you can buy at regular stores, canned or frozen
Exactly! A nice tuna steak from a good seafood restaurant is unrecognizable from the canned stuff! Can’t even imagine fray caught straight from the ocean 🤤
I never liked tuna until I had raw fresh tuna in Hawaii. You're right, there's no comparison.

Brodie mate. Here in Philippines nothing will waste on that yellow fin tuna. We cook also the head. With vinegar,black pepper, garlic ,ginger add a little bit of spices And add the coconut milk. And that's it we call it paksiw sa gata.

Nice Brody. We had 10 of 10 hooked up this August outside of San Diego. The capitan of the Alicia filmed it. We had fish for a year. I'd love to share my father's story with you. It could be offline. You helped me understand his passion more. At 88, he had heart surgery and was in ICU for 56 days. I would read his fishing magazines, tell him the counts, etc when he wouldn't eat. What kept him going was knowing he could go back on the water in September - the doc gave it a 4 month timeline. Needless to say, on the 18th, his birthday, he went with my older brother and the 22nd, the two of us. Later, in October I went with him as you need to cherish those moments. I've followed your content for a while now, and shared it with him and many others. I get where you came from, what you endured to press on - I've been there too. Now, we catch, clean, cut - smoke or grill. Love you man - you are authentic and value family and friends. Would love to shake your hand one day.
