Karthik Calling Karthik is such a great movie, bcoz although the basic premise is very much taken from Hollywood's Fight Club, yet the climax reveal is just so different. Specially the way it is revealed. Shefali Shah's character is speaking to Deepika's character, whereas simultaneously Kartik's transition while sleeping is shown - simply brilliant👏👏👏

Such Kahani climax totally Unexpected for ME..
Urmila Matondkar in Kaun and Vidya Balan in Kahaani was really shocking to me. I saw Kaun on TV when I was in high school and for 3 nights, I couldn't sleep properly. I was just imagining Urmila's scary face whole night. Urmila is so underrated in Bollywood. Her roles in Kaun, Rangeela, Pyaar tune kya kiya, Jungle, Satya and Judaai were so outstanding.
No matter how twisting the climax may be... No film can top the climax of GUPT - No one can see that Kajol was the killer
Kahani's climax is more of a swerve rather than a revealing climax

I like movies that start out paranormal but by the end they become scientific or psychological thrillers.

Maine Kartik calling kartik bina genre dekhe dekhna suru ki thi, soch kr k ye ek love story hogi but then jaise jaise movie forward chalti h....vo bahut hi gripping ho jaati h aur vo scene jaha pr kartik ki psychiatrist k sath spooky incidents hoye hein waha pr movie puri tarh se audience ko convince kr deti h k ismai ghostly involvement bhi h.....and then comes the ultimate twist in the climax.
Also how the movie ends audience k dimaag mai nayi possibility chord jaati h.
For me it is one of the best psychological movies on split personality.
I have always liked this genre wheather it is FIGHT CLUB, SHUTTER ISLAND, AMERICAN PSYCHO, SPLIT, TA(LAASH).

Merry Christmas is a slow burn. The Entire 1st half is dedicated to setting up easter eggs and the 2nd half is for audience to connect the dots. Every random statement and story make sense by the time you reach the climax. Eventually the climax makes up for the slow start in the beginning. One needs to watch it twice to fully understand the plot
