Have A Great Shave, Have A Great Day!

this is why i'm glad that i switched to DE razors! I had people like geofatboy teach me how to shave for a fraction of the price (except I started buying more safety razors and soaps to see what i've been missing)!
Sometimes we make dumb choices. Switching to safety razors instead of cartridges was not one of them. So lets go celebrate how smart we are. :)
Proof that DE shaving would put those thieves out of business.
About 5-8 years ago, when I would go to the gym were I used to live, there was a gentleman there that would discuss shaving products when we weee all getting ready for work. Anyways, he was in the transportation/logistics business. He said that Gillette razors/refills were placed in unmarked boxes and placed deep inside the truck to keep them from getting stolen.
LOL the British thief thing made me laugh. You used to be able to spot a thief a mile off round here bc they'd wear a striped shirt, mask and carry a bag with 'SWAG' written on it. These days they tend towards a raincoat or mac, usually with a dozen wristwatches hanging inside it 😀 or maybe some Edwin Jaggers.
I admit I did buy laundry pods in a parking lot...
DE all the way!
The RIDICULOUS price. So glad I switched. I have 3 very popular razors, a few janky ones, hundreds of blades, a dozen great shave creams, and a handful of aftershaves....... and have spent less than those dumb cartridges. AND this is a fun hobby. Only a moron would keep buying....or stealing them.
Funny how they're stealing these razors for a pretty subpar shave, lol. But then again, it could be like how I thought: that cartridge razor shaving was the only way to shave. I had no clue about single edge, double edge...nothing. Not until i saw an advertisement on the Supply Razor. Then I started looking and researching and I said, "Why did no one tell me about this?" Funny how far an ad can go to changing an entire routine that you used to do.
Most cartridge razor users tend to push them for as much as they can and squeeze every last bit of shave they can, because they feel cheated for the high price they've paid.
With the DE blades that isn't necessary at all. I use my DE blades only 3 times regardless of the brand, but everyone is different and some folks might be ok to use their blades 5 or more times. For me, it's not worth the hassle as well as the risk just to see if I can get maybe one last shave, given the fact how cheap and inexpensive most DE blades are.
Like your thinking in parts but unlike in other parts; I too try to push the disposable/cartridge razors as far as I can, being a matter of treatment and care; and I also generally push double edge blades to more number of uses. I can get about 14 or more shaves on some blades. SOME of the blades - not most of the blades.
@@10floz30minutes Well, everyone's different and I came to the conclusion that most of the time I get my best shaves when I use a DE blade no more than 3 times. The forth shave has a 50-50 chance and quite frankly I'm not willing to take it, because like I said - the DE blades are extremely inexpensive and also because life is too short for bad shaves. Of, course YMMV and others might disagree with the way I shave and that's ok. The main thing about shaving is to enjoy it, but how you enjoy it it's up to you, even if enjoy shaving with cartridge or electric razors.
Awesome thread!! I like to use the same blade for longer. Sometimes I find I only really get the groove of the blade by the third use, and up to 10 uses, give or take. After that the quality of the blade plummets. Like you said, to each their own. I don’t mind if someone throws ‘em away after one shave. They still save you more money than purchasing cartridges.
Go safety razor and forgeeettt about it
Interesting stats .
That’s why is switched to DE shaving over ten years ago, was because the cartridges cost too much!
One shave a day is not enough for me so I'm glad I use DE
Good for you nice video!
That's really interesting.
I was laughing but this actually happened to me. I was at a water station filling 5 gallon containers of drinking water. Someone approached me and asked if I wanted to buy any of these items opened up his trunk and he had many different types of alcoholic beverages mostly hard alcohol and he had quite an assortment of razors and cartridge blades I did not buy any because I use old Gillette safety razors and feather blades
The real thieves are the crooked bastards that manufacture and market cartridge razors and cartridge blades.
Most stolen item in the world? I assumed it was the heart?
Waiting for the British Museum to start selling those safety razors.
The more you know...
I cannot believe that thieves steal razors and sell them.
I always thought people stole them because there are a rip off...
Just tired to order some product from you. All were out of stock. Maybe next time.

The most stolen item is a bic lighter. Prove me wrong
I disagree. I think the most stolen item is a Bic pen.
@@dfrazier51 that’s a solid choice. I didn’t even think of bic pens. Lol
Pens and lighters going together like chips and dip
Good morning, Amerikka!
