I have just updated my Cerberus, and love it. I use the full 4 cable method with my Kustom 30w Valve Amp and the tones and usability is just perfect. I have been performing with it since last October, and often get asked about what I am using. So simple, so compact and so GOOD! Big shout out to NU>X and Monk.
Dear NUX EFX & Amplifier, Cerberus has been launched for more than a year and still there is no video or demo on MIDI implementation. PLs make a dedicated Video on How to use Cerberus Via MIDI and what more options does it provide with that.

As a new user I have one major wish for the future: please consider the possibility to set the MIDI CC# out individually per patch! As it is today from my understanding, the Cerberus sends out a CC message which is fixed and always the same number as the patch. This makes it very impractical to use together with external pedals which are controlled by midi. Thanks!
The instructions say when you connect an expression pedal the display shows DN and to put the heal down on the pedal then press Enter, then do the same for Toe Up to calibrate the pedal. Well, nothing shows on the display when I connect an expression pedal and nowhere on the Cerberus is there an Enter button! Great pedal but poor user manual!

There is a problem with your latest Firmware update. Prior to v5 update with v3 - the ctrl lights function properly lighting up the item you have selected to control with the ctrl switch. After the v5 update - all the lights light up at once. Please fix this.
Do you know if there will be a new Cerberus update? I think they can still improve the shimer and modulations. The shimmer sounds horrible and annoying at high frequencies, it is unusable
Hi NUX EFX folks. I've been searching the internet for some details of the MIDI implementation on the Cerberus (v5.1) without much luck. Quick question - does the Cerberus support MIDI Through via it's MIDI out connection? Some back ground - I've successfully program a MIDI footswitch controller that I'm building so that I can turn an effect (delay) on and off by sending 127 (on) or 0 (off) to the assigned MIDI CC number (28) and channel (1). But what I can't get working is for the Cerberus to pass on a MIDI command on a different channel (1) intended for my looper pedal.
I have a NUX Cerberus. Yesterday, i connected it to a computer, to update it, and the update failed. I tried all three firmwares available, and on Mac and Windows both. The device also stopped working since. It is momentarily turning ON and dying again. And I tried to do a factory reset, but nothing worked for me. Can you please help?
@@MrOrb1979 what would be cool is an update where you hold down ALT key and the DIST Gain/Tone/Level become Bass/Middle/Treble..... I don't know how easy it could be done tho as the drive sections are analogue...... would be cool tho
From what I've read you can't scroll manually. The IR loaded in slot 1 (see in software) is the one that is used for the cab button manually. It's the Roland Jazz but can be changed in the software to another stock or 3rd party.
I only used it for 3 days and the drive button stopped working. I regret buying the nux cerberus and I miss my old pedal board that I sold to buy this fragile shoddy item in my experience.

it just says update failed and crashes this is the second time Im using it the first time it worked EDIT: NOW IT FKED UP AND THE SCREEN DOESNT SHOW ANYTHING EDIT #2 GOD FKINg damn it it doesnt work EDIT #3 sooo i updated it to firmware 3.9 it did the update then took it and tried to update back to 5.1... BUT IT STILL DIDNT WORK FFS IM HVING A GIG TOMORROW BUT SRSY WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO Edit #idk so I deleted and reinstalled and updated the whole thing now and this time it worked but the software still says ,,no device" and is blank empty while it says that my inpuit and output are both the cerberus Last Edit: So yeah looks like Im not changing the cab or edit anything today after just a nice hour and a half of suffering

Distortions and Drive not working or producing only clean sound after Firmware update. Can it be fixed? How?
Just purchased, but my cerberus is just blinking a writing "Cerberus" in the display. Is it a faulty unit.

I have replay from NUX Service team. It works with new Windows Firmware. I have updated it and it works fine. Thanks to NUX service

Power amp Sim and a basic Preamp EQ. The two important things missing from Cerberus.

How to scroll through available IRs without a computer? Is there any way to do this? When I press "CAB" on the unit which IR is loaded?
