I have one of these and use it a lot. Great demo as you can get some excellent ideas for settings from you entering manual mode rather than just using presets. I'd definitely encourage people to use some alternative IRs too as the sounds vary greatly. The only thing I'd change with this unit is having motorised knobs to set them in manual mode to what it actually is (other than that, just use present mode and go straight into manual). However, if you want to tweak you don't know what the existing values are. Other than that a fantastic unit (I've sold the Mooer RedTruck and SansAmp FlyRig as this one does things much better for me and the ODs and effects are better sounding.
Man. That is my worry. Is it really better than the mooer black truck or red and or the rest priced at this range? I'm so confused as so many out there. Maybe the mooer ge200 too? Either way the unit here we're discussing seems very versatile. I'm a Gilmour fan. And write atmospheric songs on keyboard workstation so I need some killer stuff for bluesy airy leads over the top. Thanks.
I own this unit and its amazing. I have a fender custom shop strat and a Blackstar HT60. I use the 4 cable method with this running the OD/distortion through the front of the amp and the delay, reverb and mod through the effects loop of my amp. Only thing i wish it had was inputting the BPM for the delay, a shimmer effect and maybe a compressor. But other than that, the Cerberus is amazing.
@@kasimsuli You can get a cheap Joyo preamp and put that in the loop. I use Joyo American Sound and it worked great with the Cerberus. I think it's much better than the SansAmp
No talking is always great! This thing sounds very good. I want to nag on MIC pedal makers, but they have been killing it for a while now, and this is a beast!

This is like 5 with the delay and reverb. It is like the Nux Atlantic, the modulation equivalent, a dirt and distortion pedal. Plus a programable midi looper and IR Loader. $650 to $800 in stuff.

Ok, I have two amps one I like to use for cleans VoxAc30 and a Blackstar Ht40 for distortion. Also have an a/b box. What I need its to be able to switch amps and effect with one click. Meaning that now I can change amps with the a/b box but whatever effects are running can be heard on either amp running, until I click on the different bank. I would like to be able to go lets say Bank (A) distortion/delay to amp 1. Bank (B) delay/compressor/chorus to amp 2. Would that box be able to accomplish that. Thanks 🤟

Yes. You can add pedals in between the internal chain. Pre-mod or pre-drive. Heck, you can even connect your amp with the 4-cable method. Its a very versatile unit.

These two connectors (INPUT & OUTPUT) is labelled under the OVERDRIVE/DISTORTION section. That OUTPUT is the SEND. While the Return is labelled as INPUT in the MODULATION/DELAY/REVERB section. This Return (labelled as INPUT, as mentioned) is the connector besides (to the right of the) OUTPUT 1 connector. The OUTPUT 1 is the one with the guitar jack is plugged in to the left side of the CERBERUS. These two are the actual Send & Return.
what do you connect cerberus? amp ? pc ?, reference monitor? . I bought one. I hooked it up to the marshall mg 50 amp but the sound is so very very bad
Could be because it’s an MG50. I’ve had a few from the MG series over the years and anything less than the 100 just sounds crap with or without pedals. Sell the MG50 and get a DSL40 if you’re on a budget.
Its not the CERBERUS thats bad, its the MG 50 amp. I plugged my CERBERUS into the Boss Katana 100 combo & it sounds awesome. I have also plugged it in a Marshall DSL & again it sounds great. In fact when i use it in the 4 cable method, it even sounds much much better...

Overdrive like NuX OD-3, dist like Drive Deluxe... So I must buy NuX HiGain (dist)... Maybe NuX Atlantic would be better choice for reverb/delay...
The Atlantic is this reverb/Delay plus a couple extra features. It's amazing value for money.

Why is this different then the line 6 crap
Line 6 effects are all digital. On cerberus, OD and distortion sections are analog, mod and delay are digital.
