The greatest soulful raspy voice ever I said ever we will miss you forever Greg I was 14 the first time you played in the warehouse in New Orleans Louisiana I felt your sweat hit my face you and Dwayne the greatest guitar player ever in my opinion love y'all miss y'all rest in peace please
My biggest regret I was never able to see him in concert, he was scheduled to play here in ca but it was canceled due to his health issues , I was broken hearted that he shortly passed away. RIP beautiful man.
A friend just turned me unto this great band! Sure wish all the bands names were listed! Every time I heard the Allman Brothers band they were "heart lifting," great therapy to feel good, better good." Thank You God for my good kid days. & Now knowing, loving what the "good old days" are :) & were!
@barbaranolan6767 I am in absolute agreement for certain...and it surely is in my prayers that Gregg is indeed Resting In the Peace that he so very much deserves! (in my humble opinion) He is missed SO much...by SO many.
Saw them Saturday night, July 18, 2015. Really bad storm hit, messed the stage up and equipment. Gregg came on late, played mostly in the dark. The band was GREAT.
VERY VERY VERY ............G.A. & Bros. rockin' happy to be the very 1st to like it since I've liked ABB for 30-40 years by now...'member Duane?...nah, can't be that long ago..... Thanks for the post....sharin' ;-) Rico
That drum solo...wow! Thought he was going to start playing with his hands any minute a la Bonzo. It was very Moby Dick-ish. Devon rocked too, he looks more like Duane than Duane’s own daughter!
If you think he looks like his Uncle Duane here, you should check out this: Royal Southern Brotherhood - Unplugged in Norway here on you tube. Whoa boy howdy he looks just like him.
I've always thought the same. In fact, I finally got around to checking some birth and death rates to make sure he's Gregg's son. It turns out Duane died before Devon was even conceived. I've recently noticed that one of John Fogerty's sons looks exactly like his brother Tom.
One of my favorite ABB tunes, but this one is far too long, loses momentum due to superfluous drum and bass solos. Btw: 8:34 sax player comes in to early for full band action which starts at 8:50 . Anyway, Gregg's voice is thrilling through all the decades.
At 2:40 look at the proud look on Gregg's face when Devon steps up to do his solo! ❤️ That's one proud papa! RIP Gregg, and condolences to Devon and the rest of Gregg's family!
That drum solo kicks ass!! Can't wait to get this DVD. Love bass solo. You don't hear them very often. And the horns add so much to the bands overall sound. Gregory was right, again. Oh yeah--Gregory's voice sounds as great as always.
Gregg one of a few in generations of undeniable musicians and decades long performers is still surprised and blown away when he points to the audience and invites them to sing the lyrics they know so well A good, loving man
They broke the mold when Gregg was born ,He was & is the Best & The one and only ,Thank you Gregg for the Greatest music you left us , We love you Gregg Allman,R.I.P. my friend,Your music will live on💯
The smile on Greggs face while Devon is playing his solo is priceless. He is saying that is my boy. Proud dad, just another case of class from Mr. Gregg Allman

Ooooh, baby! I pray I get to see Gregory just one more time. It's on my bucket list. He ain't gettin' no younger and neither am I. I'm from Macon, GA and have seen the Band too many times to count. I missed this performance, though. Smokin' hot, as usual!
reckon his voice was better here than back in the day imo. Greg reminded me a lot of JJCale in all sorts of subtle ways. This is an international grief but thanks to the USA for creating all of this.... RIP GA
I think it was Cool of Gregg to let his band show case their skills.. obviously he's not arrogant enough to insist on being the only one on stage.. a true musician!
I just dawned on me that Gregg wasn't feeling good enough to carry on a whole show any more.. perhaps he's needed the time to rest up and not burn out! He was pretty sick by then...
He Was thE BLUES MAN HE BLED THE BLUES GREG ALLMAN❤
See what we had to put up with in the 60s and 70s!!!!!!rock in peace brother will be missed.
74 and I still LOVE,LOVE , this song ....the memories will always make me smile .

Saw them Saturday night, July 18, 2015. Really bad storm hit, messed the stage up and equipment. Gregg came on late, played mostly in the dark. The band was GREAT.
Imagine Duane aging as well as his peers and brother Gregg... I could never be so proud of that. Unfortunately euphoria doesn't exist.
VERY VERY VERY ............G.A. & Bros. rockin' happy to be the very 1st to like it since I've liked ABB for 30-40 years by now...'member Duane?...nah, can't be that long ago..... Thanks for the post....sharin' ;-) Rico

:)
Picky, picky, picky....it's all in your taste.
That drum solo...wow! Thought he was going to start playing with his hands any minute a la Bonzo. It was very Moby Dick-ish. Devon rocked too, he looks more like Duane than Duane’s own daughter!

JourneyHome I agree! And as talented as his uncle Duane!
If you think he looks like his Uncle Duane here, you should check out this: Royal Southern Brotherhood - Unplugged in Norway here on you tube. Whoa boy howdy he looks just like him.

How about the smile Devon did after his solo to the camera?
Devon played what would have been Dickey's solo on the record version. He's Duane's nephew, but not in his class as a guitarist.

An American treasure.

Allman's doing what they do best. Jam on proud Pops!!! Love is EVERYwhere..ounnnn

Larry Gibes I'm 72 and been digging Gregg since they came out in the 70s. ..

Me too.
+Gerardo Erak WIRED!

I think it was Cool of Gregg to let his band show case their skills.. obviously he's not arrogant enough to insist on being the only one on stage.. a true musician!

My 1st listen to this today, for the 1st time hearing this version. I got some smoke in my eye...or somethin'
Great band very Soulful! RIP Greg!
Devon is a look alike to Duane. There might have been a mirage of 50 years ago in his mind.
