Dear Ruth!! Amazing finished objects as usual!! All beautiful!! I wound up doing the max simple raglan top down in Devonia 4 ply after I watched you John Arbon video and it’s truly beautiful! The colors! Also starting a Marie Wallin cable and lace from latest book , Westmoreland, called Keswick, I’ll probably never finish it , can’t help it😂 You motivate me to no end! Lovely episode, enjoy your Ireland trip! Bring back yarn to show us!!

Your hundred miles an hour was fabulous Ruth. So much knitting to drool over. Thank you for making the time for us before your holiday. What a gem your crochet potato is. A very special treasure for sure. I am on the body of my “ make along” jumper but also have the sleeves to do - progress has been made and I would not have started it if you hadn’t had this fab idea. I have a funny feeling I know who you will be meeting in Dublin. 😊 What a good gossip you will have. I absolutely love deciding what I will take on my jolly days. Not bothered about what I wear but am bothered about what I want to take to knit. Enjoy and have a great time xx

I always enjoy your podcasts. I vote for sending the pair of socks that you're not sure about to Marie Curie. There is some yellow in there, and as you said, there might be a patient with swollen feet who would greatly appreciate them. I hope your family has a lovely time in Ireland. I thought I heard you say "holibobs." Is that an Irish word for holidays/vacations?

Oh Ruth I brought the flying fox pattern and want to use the shhhh wool, I am very short so smaller would be better for me. Unfortunately I am not an experienced knitter so when you said you missed rows out does that mean you also did not do all the increase rows. Sorry to be dim xx
Yes. As long as you finish each section on a wrong side I think you can shorten some sections. X

I think the socks have enough yellow to donate- and it could be a nice pair for someone to choose if they aren’t keen on loads of yellow. (How could that be!? 😂💛)

I have the same Shhh yarn as you in a different colour way and can’t remember why I bought it so will have a go at making the flying fox shawl because yours looks so nice. I just love seeing what ur up to! I just finished moving house 2 days ago and get to go to flock fiber festival in Seattle Wa 2 days hence so that’ll b fun (Tho I’m completely wiped out from moving) those neck things you whip out are just my thing in winter! Love them!

My hubby has type 2 diabetes he is always cold so he bundles up in 3 blankets from head to toe!😩Makes me hot just looking at him wrapped up like a burrito😂
I just sleep under the duvet cover minus the duvet.

You've brightened up a wet, windy, gloomy day!!! On the Roseland in Cornwall with my little cafe & craft shop open. Sooooo quiet - nobody wants the beach today!!! But hey I get uninterrupted UA-cam and knitting time!! Love your crochet blanket. I've been knitting for 48 years but never learnt to crochet. A friend is going to teach me this winter. I'll be pleased if my blanket looks anything like yours!! My stepson & his wife live in Okehampton and have mentioned lovely wool shops. I'm itching to have a shopping trip there and will deffo visit The Woolly Beader. Thanks for another great podcast 😀

I enjoyed visiting Ireland this past March for the very first time. The weather was slightly chilly and wonderful. I hope one day to return. For now I’m home in Oklahoma and enjoying my air conditioning. It has been one of the many places experiencing hot triple digit temperatures with no rain so what you’re describing sounds fantastic.
So nice to sit back and knit a bit with your episode. A lot of gardening was done today, so I had a nice hot shower and am sitting back to relax a bit. I bought one of Andrea Mowry's patterns, the Golden Hour shawl (I think that's the name 🤔), and I even placed an order for some special yarn to use for it. 😊
