I hear her music and while I watch this video listen to songs that U already know because I listened to them on the Aviano US radio in northern Italy where I was born and raised. and fell in love with country music. which is the music I love most: the soul of US music, the one tht has the most heart. I remember seeing her perform at the Kankakee County Fair(Illinois) back when she was just about 13 or 14! I'm 64 now & have been a huge fan since I saw her!!! I think she's a wonderful woman!
Starting out so young and hitting big right off the ground it’s not surprising she stumbled some along the way. But what makes her special is she kept and keeps coming back fighting, and thus she is a legendary!
I remember when Tanya started out. I listened to Delta Dawn on the juke box many times. I never knew she had a 3rd child. Wow! She is a excellent singer, I love most of her songs.
I was just 3 yrs old when I first heard Delta Dawn, loved it but had no idea who sang it or anything about her until much later. I also remember the other songs and seeing her on Hee Haw not realizing how young she was or anything about how amazing that was! I always loved her voice. And thought she was beautiful. So many good/ great Songs!
Campbell called Tucker a liar, yet he was the married man, twice her age, introduced her to drugs and yet she was the liar?, I think the cocaine ate Campbell’s brain, he hit women, hit Tucker and she was supposed to just lay there? I respect any woman that doesn’t allow a man to take his weaknesses out on her. Unfortunately she let her talent destroy any respect she had for herself and her father for all he gave up for her.. It’s the way people of people to decide for themselves, however, we all have to give respect to those that have always been there for you and stood by you, no matter what. She lived by her own rules good or bad, only for her to decide.
I love Faith Hill she is sexy but stil the girl next door Tanya Is Not the girl next door but not in a bad way LOL love her she is the country Madonna she is not afraid to take chances
I like Tanya a lot, but Lynn Anderson had already taken country music to a much broader audience in late 1970-71, with "Rose Garden." She played venues and appeared on shows where country artists normally didn't.

They played calgary in 75ish. I was on a volley ball trip. We stayed at the highlander and partied with her band
