Will this work with the D32XD?
I dont see the 2seemy available for the D32XD, but i can let Sebastian know. He is keeping the project open for the time being.
@@Bassguitarist1985 Thank you! I would think the same system could be used for both but I think the back of the D32XD doesn't have the holes like the D3200. I was thinking maybe I could cut out the expansion bay cover to accommodate the module....
I'm sure it is possible to get a VGA adapter but the D32XD has touch screen capabilities so that complicates the installation more. Obviously the external monitor will not have touch screen capability but there are likely more connectors on the screen to allow for that functionality. Research and modification would have to be done. I'll email Sebastian and see what he thinks I know you are not the only one to ask about it. It'd be really nice for that unit because that was a very popular and fully capable unit before they went away from the standalone DAWs
My faders recently stopped working. Has anyone experienced this?
Completely stopped working or intermittent? Has the unit ever been taken apart?
@@Bassguitarist1985 completely stopped. I just noticed it’s only faders 1-8. Can still record on them.
@@thehighdeath5562 have you checked the ribbon cable? Try reseating it?
@@Bassguitarist1985 I’ll try. Thanks!!
I have this D3200 and I replaced the HDD and it worked for about 10 minutes before it stopped and now the HDD/CD light stays on, do I need to replace the HDD and do you have a system recovery disc?
@@Rockstarrodeos did you replace it with a solid state drive or traditional platter style drive? Yes I do have the system restore disc image I can send you a link.
Yes the HDD/CD light steady on indicates a drive error. You have to make sure that the hard drive is set to master and the CD drive is set to slave. Cable select jumper is also fine too. If it was a used platter style drive you might have just gotten unlucky. I do see the Seagate drives on eBay either 40G or 80GB for sale often.
I have a brand new unit is there anyone who wants to purchase it.
Try posting on the studiotrax group on Facebook. There's still a few people on there that I know use these units.
