@@AndrewMarston maHello BRO!
@@kevinesquekev9357 bro.
This tutorial really saved me and know how to use split. thank you.
Thank you, for this tip. My work is a lot faster now because of it!!
Awesome!
Simply Awesome
Thank you! Cheers!
Always label your layers. Got it!
Hi Andrew, watched it again now I’ve had the .split topic at Expression Session, pretty amazing what you can do with it!👍
Nice! How is Expression Session?
Goodmorning Andrew, doing well. Expression Session is so difficult if you've only used wiggle in the past, hhhhh. But with a little experience I think it's less complicated. It's like learning a new language. But I'm beginning to see the structures within the code now! Highly recommend the course.
Expression Session School of Motion.
thx.
that was fun)))))
tnx
andrew kramer credit card number hahahaha🤣
As it turns out, info on this topic is surprisingly hard to find. :-/
@@AndrewMarston I'm having the same problem with the Ukramedia Krew.
Tutorial plzzzzzz!
I'm really interested in learning to create animated bar graphs from a spreadsheet like shown, do you guys already have a tutorial on that?
Great vid!
I left all the rigging for the bar chart in the project file that's linked in the description if you're interested. There's probably some odd scraps of code and expression controls from the project I originally built it for, but it might be helpful. Also I learned most of what I know from the CSV videos on this channel as well as the one by Joe Clay on his Workbench channel.
Hi .. This could be helpful to you .. Take a look and give it a try .. Cheers

I'm going to a bar now. Gonna recycle the scraps of code left in the project to impress the Ladies!
awesome! whats that plugin / panel name to change layers colors? looks very handy!
It's Labels 3 by Rendertom on Aescripts. I also recently tweeted a link to download the palette file for my custom color scheme which is based on one by Ryan Summers. I think there may be a free script that's similar out there also, but not sure. Since buying Labels about a year ago, I'm sure the seconds I save each time I use it have added up to more than cover the cost of the script.
Bro, thanks, a , lot, !, ! 😁🙏
Nice use of split()!
I sense a heatlhy obsession with Andrew Kramer..
Thanks, awesome!
But i guess the only way to keyframe it is with a massive bigger expression if at least it is possible, right?
With layer name like "layer-5-10" and a slider keyframed to go from 0 to 1 you could do something like this:
val1 = thisLayer.name.split("-")[1];
val2 = thisLayer.name.split("-")[2];
p = effect("Slider Control")("Slider");
linear(p, 0, 1, val1, val2);
Whatever property this expression is applied to would animated from 5 to 10 as the playhead moved between the first and second keyframe of the slider.
What the name of color picker plugin you have in the left bottom?
Labels 3 on aescripts
Nice examples, thank you. But look like you have a co-pilot))
What gave you that idea? ;-)
Hello! I'm trying to join the Facebook group but sadly I still haven't been accepted in... might you be able to help with that?
I apologize for the inconvenience., we let new members into our private group each Monday.
