Thanks so much for posting this video. As someone who's just starting to use After Effects, you've made me feel like expressions aren't out of reach for me. And while it's simple, "Wiggle" will come in very handy for a project I'm about to start working on.

A while back I built an interactive operating system in AE with precomps, guide layers and expressions. It has a lock screen with a password prompt and also showed the current actual system time
My “God Mode” would be to type what I want it to do in the layer. And walla it does it. Like “make selected object Disintegrate”. So that object then does that function. Boom! 💥 🤯
I would like to include voice control for After Effects, for those times when clients say 'make it a darker blue' or 'slow that animation down' or 'make it square and round and triangular all at the same time'. Being able to yell instructions into the computer and watch it update would be absolutely amazing.

Hmmmm. i would automate easy ease in/out because i need this all the time for smooth animations. I’m not very knowledged about after effects. I’m re-learning it because I forgot what I learned in uni. But I also want hot keys for cutting layer sections in the timeline and preview panel like premiere pro. Maybe once I learn more of after effects, hopefully I can learn more about this coding looking stuff xD
Can you please show us how to do realistic zooms that look like they were done on the actual camera like in The Office? If so, is it possible is Premiere Pro/After Effects?
i like that one with random seed. but does enyone know how to upgrade this expression with animation? i thought it would be like wiggle expression, but it is static. How to animate wiggle scale?
I would enable stick figure mode, which would make whatever animation I’m working on come to life, and start moving around the screen finishing whatever it is I’m trying to complete. These animations which I’m working on I’ll customise so I can have Shrek editing my video.
I've seen someone do a video where that worked pretty well in premiere, if it was setup right (I suspect it would work in AE too). The video instructor grabbed a single frame of the scene without the person, then he didn't move the camera (tripod). And the person came in the scene but put enough distance between himself and the camera that there was no shadow on the wall. Then he filmed using auto. He said you had to film with auto mode. Then he put the single frame above the footage, dragged it the full length of the footage, then gave the frame a right click and some sort of hold command). Then in layer properties he changed the frame from normal to (either divide or multiply, I'm pretty sure it was divide) then the whole background became white. Then he removed white like you do green screen. It was pretty cool, though he wasn't a perfectionist when it came to getting rid of the edges, still it's a great start. If I find the video. I'll come back and add a link.

DEFINITELY.. have a tool that would make a perfect mask just selecting the subject without spending hours in mocha, just a click and you have a selection that would be soooooo nice
I would add reverse proxies. That means I would be able to shoot with my 720p 20fps phone, edit it and export it with crystal clear 4k resolution with slow motion at 240 fps. 😊
I would add a mode in which I could connect my brain in to the pc and let it read my mind so it can create what I want exactly as I want it without any editing. That would be kinda nice.
I would allow some "legacy" workspace, so when you are using tools you already have in photoshop for example, they would have same name as they have in photoshop and work the same way. How futuristic is that...
Quick question about random: If you don't Seed it, it changes every frame. That's good, I may want that, BUT how can I make it every other frame or once every 3 frames, or once a second?
