It was annoying to travel between. But I got it done. I used the first ship we got in the game and reused a few things. That upper cowel I kept instead of the one you had so I can use weapons up there then added energy weapons on the end of the wings. I also added two more round engines on the 1x3 for more engine power. Really nice build!
I believe with the max building size of ships in Starfield, I wouldn’t be able to build it to scale. Would you still like to see one built that’s a smaller version?
@@StayHoodE Sure. There are mods that break the limit though, but yeah I'd be interested in it. There's a video about a guy that made the ship based on the UNSC Charron class from Halo 2.
Best looking Pelican Build. I wish he’d hover over the components a bit longer, but I guess that’s what pause is for. I created a landing pad at my outpost and built this from scratch. Before weapons, I think it cost like 100k (after sacrificing a 55k or so ship purchased on new Atlantis). I’m so happppppy!
Btw i think this works but I’m not too sure, if you have a outpost and a place for you ship to land and customize it, I think it has all the stuff you’ve gotten for ships or at least discovered said parts. It saves lots of time from going system to system where you’re in one place. This is actually how I was able to make my Foward Unto Dawn, if you at least get most parts but some are not too significant for your ship to function you can just got to the system that has said part and add it to your ship. Again I’m not too sure if that’s how that landing pad works but that my experience with it
Perfect design and thank you so much. Quick shortcut for the two different ports! If you build a base on a planet and build a landing port with a ship builder as apart of it (it will cost a lot of resources but overall will be worth it) you can build everything on this design except the very back engines. It also costs half the credits to build it at your planet! My build credit cost were half the price as the one in the video!
Maybe with the nova parts it’s possible to make something similar to covenant ships. EDIT- in my personal opinion mi risotto should’ve allowed us to buy ships like the pelican and longsword from the games then we would t have to go through the trouble of finding all the parts necessary to build them

Second can you tell us exactly which planet you got the ship part on Third Can you add to the disc. of the video using time stamps to show us each section for specifications when trying to find which area we are working on
If Starfield let one has space ship/station has hanger instead of docking ports, such ship size actually makes sense as short-hop transport or to-and-from orbit shuttle.

Hey man what you ever show a video of how you did it because it just seems like nobody will show us the actual converting one ship to another it's like they magically somehow have all the parts and they can just put it together and that pisses me off because that's not how the game is working you're supposed to put the parts on the ship and somehow make them usable then go to the planet that you need and get the parts

I should've finished the video 1st then gather and attached all the parts. I was going back and forth after every part not realizing i can attach everything in atlanta/Akila and then move to the other.

Can you basically just show us you actually putting the parts on like one of the ships and maybe flying back and forth I would not mind if a video is longer because that actually gives us more information and more contacts because how you're doing it in the video makes it sound like you got all the parts in one place and that's not how the game works oh I think that part might be very confusing if you don't show yourself actually flying from one system to another kind of doing all this extra work. Again man it's your video you make it how you want but please at least tell me you see my point

Example: say that you're in Atlanta and the engine you want is in Akila city, just attach a random engine then fly to Akila to actually put the one you want on. It'll cost some money but that's how I did it. The other way i think is you rank up the starship engineer to unlock all of the parts
That error pops when the landing bay isn't connected to the cockpit through habitat modules. Imagine walking as your character to the cockpit through the landing bay, you'd need to travel through habitat modules to get there. If you have a reactor or grav drive in the way it won't work.
Different ports sell different modules, so I basically build like half a ship and then finish it with cheap modules and then fly to my next destination and replace the cheap modules with what I want
No, but you'll need to go to both the New Atlantis and the first Freestar city spaceports to get different parts. I have trouble finding the nova wings, cockpit, scoop under the cockpit, and landing gear but everything for the basic shape, not including weapons, is barebones class C. I heard you can build a landing pad on a outpost (settlement) that gives you access to >90% of the building options. I'd recommend doing that if you wanted to follow this build 1:1 without having to track down the few branded parts.
Alright so I finally got it to work but hey man it says that there is one error not the ones for the snow weapon or shield but I think I'm missing a module or something

Yeah that’s what I had to do. I made what I could in one system and then threw on whatever else I could to make it fly and then started over wherever I went next. Your modules that you had on your aircraft will be accessible to you if they were on your ship when you landed even if the port doesn’t sell those specifically.
It has to be above any overhang parts. So it has to be on the most outer area of your placement. For instance, if you put it on top, it has to be higher than your engines.
Different modules are sold at separate star ports. Meaning for certain parts (in this example, the cockpit and landing gears) you’ll need to travel to another starport. The ports used in this video are New Atlantis in the Alpha Centauri system and Akila in the Cheyenne system
Can't find the armstrong 20e cockpit? I'm level 14. Loving the game but it's extremely frustrating following some of these guides and not having the parts shown.
Some parts like the landing gears and cockpit need to be obtained at other spaceports. For those modules mentioned you need to go to Akila in the Cheyenne system to get them.
I built the whole ship with the modules I had at New Atlantis and then finished it with a cheap cockpit and landing gears to fly to Akila and replace them white what I truly wanted.
My strategy was to complete the ship with the cheapest parts available. I remember having to add a 1x1 Hab underneath the ship and add landing gears to fly to another system to get the rest

Man I love your video and I will give you props but I really think you should have showed us you actually converting one of the older ships into the new ships that are just acting like you have all the parts individually and you can just kind of put it together like some kind of Lego building. Because so much context is left out like how you actually put the ship together through means of putting new parts on the older ships and just flying around and making sure you have all the individual parts fitted on it so you can actually make the ship. I love this game I'm really starting to get pissed that I spent over $100 on it

Big tip! Build a shipyard on an outpost and you can get all the parts used for this ship minus the back thrusters! Will save you over half an hour

This game has vertical and horizontal thrusters. You should use them because it makes it easier to hit those sharper turns.

When I built this, I changed the rear thrusters to the type that are on the wings, and it looks more like a Pelican now

It took probably 5-6 hours to get the first shape. The longest thing to figure out was the landing gears no doubt 😅
