@@mikeh.8155 Been working great bought a second one for my frontier and no issues so far with android auto. I did have issues with android auto on one of the xdcpa11bt which is made by dual.
I guess the big questions are will it work with my backup camera as well as my 2 side cameras activated with the turn signal. Will it easily fit in my vehicle replacing the current unit?
This is exactly what I've wanted for years, 7" double dins are okay, but still small in my opinion. I've actually been using a small tab mounted to the dash magnetically with 2.5 headphone out to the stereo aux in, so this seems like such a more streamlined solution. It will block my central vents, but rarely use them anyway. Just need to know if it supports 24bit flac (manual says flac supported but doesn't give specifics)
Any update? how does it sound? did you get android auto working? or try another brand of android phone? i like the looks of this unit but i dont see many reviews. can you share your experience?
It does the same with my Android phone also , it doesn't pick up or recognize the phone when I put in USB cord or try from the screen for USB capability this is phony and as to go get another phone that I haven't had a problem with Kenwood or JVC double din with I am not happy about this at all
@@mikeh.8155 That could be an issue. In my parent's brand new 2021 Kia Seltos which has an apple carplay and android auto stereo and I tried it with one set of cable, it did not work but with another cable, it worked. You just have to troubleshoot with different variables until you find the issue and then go about fixing them.
@@mikepowers171 yes you’ll need the steering wheel adapter. It’s easy to hook up and self detects. 🚨Mike, the auto dim on a Honda takes an extra step, u have to splice into a weird wire to make it work. I have a video on my channel on how to do it. 🚨
Beware of this radio, I installed it in my 2009 F150..ok first the radio doesn't recognize my Android phone which I have from metro PC's never had this problem with my Kenwood or JVC double din so when I connect my phone to the USB it doesn't work, all I have is radio channels and phone so I tried using the USB connection on the screen with no success, then I tried using maps what happened was that it kept repeating the route even though I was finished I couldnt turn it off , I wasn't impressed with this unit b, will spend 300 more and get a alpine tried with Android auto and the same result and response will be returning the unit to crutchfield , I will lose because of installation fee , you still can do better if u can afford , I got what I paid for a low price unit that's not compatible with my phone and now I have to go thru changes that are unnecessary totally pissed off
I'd like to see more with how the screen attaches.
i have this but i need the 2 side pieces, and the screws to mount the screen to unit and a remote how can i get these parts

Just bought one saw it on crutchfield. Will be going into a 2009 Hyundai azera that I bought at copart. Should fit and look nice.
