It's crazy how similar yet radically different they are. They all have a place and time. We're just fortunate to have so many to choose from. Thx for watching buddy!
Did you ever try the Moore’s Flaptail? That one is smaller, has only 2 trebles and the flaptail creates quite a wake (+ it has been around for dozens of years and is pretty affordable). I know the oldtimers used it so I don’t see why it wouldn’t still catch today, inbetween all the super loud and huge 3-treble versions. I would consider check them out, used to build them myself using their blanks and blades 🙂 it is a bait to be fished slowly, so not for covering water but for specific conditions like low light or no to little wind situations
Thx for watching! A couple really stood out, and a couple don't sound quite the same on video as they do when your throwing then. We have our favs, but being unbiased you can't go wrong with any bait in this video.
I don't think anything in nature sounds like metal on metal, but who really knows what spectrum they hear, or feel the vibrations in the water. The truth is flaptails cause enough comotion in the water to draw the interest of fish. For the record the ones that work the best for us have the most metalic sound to it.
holy, what a weapon system, nice.
You win internet comment of the week!!!!
And yep, we're pretty lucky to have a great collection to choose from!
Wow great video has always thanks made my mind up witch one I'm adding to the mix
Awesome! Hope we helped you make up your mind!!
Great video, it’s crazy how much more sound some of those put off over others. It’s just crazy how much nuance goes into just one style of bait.

Can’t beat the Lee Lures Flaptail, much success with it over the years. Lie the Zilla baits too, great video Glen.
Thx for watching! I think a lot of anglers see the Lee Lures flaptail as the benchmark in that segment. And for good reason.

Thx Dean! Wait until you see what we have planned for this summer. #nextlevel
Great video! I wonder, were you surprised by any or think one you expected to have better sounds, didnt? Or vice versa?

My question is what does a swimming duck or whatever you think it's supposed to imitate sound like?
