Great video! Tip summary: 1. Make the systems easy to follow (drawer organizers, keep most-used items at eye level and easy to reach, avoid toy boxes) 2. Lower closet bars to eye level or below eye level 3. Use IKEA cube storage (clothes in bins on the bottom) 4. Use labels on bins and baskets to remind kids where things go 5. Make sure to clean and tidy every day.
I will always believe, the person who invented toy-boxes had no children. I used your system about bins and man it makes a huge difference and we have 8 boys. The rooms are so much cleaner and organized. I make picture labels for my three year olds; match the toy to the picture and they are happy.
Appreciate Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Mahorrla Control Clutter Method (do a search on google)? It is a great one of a kind product for decluttering your home minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my old buddy Taylor after many years got amazing results with it.
I jus have to say I have been watching ur videos for a while now and u r such a beautiful and honest character I can feel How real u r and it's such a pleasure to see plz keep up the great videos sending lots of love from bonnie Scotland 💜💜💜
Your intro always makes me smile!!! That song!!!!😍 their rooms are adorable!!! So true about kids not having systems...they need that to learn!! Love cubed shelving too! Our house came with a cool shelf similar to the IKEA one.. we painted it and it's perfect! I will show it in an upcoming video😍I'm becoming. So uncool too☹️ love the family game night idea!!!
The IKEA cubes are quite possibly the love of my life. We have them in our kids' bedrooms, their playroom, our homeschool room, the upstairs family room, my husband's home office, and we are looking at more for the living room. They are the best!
Great video as all the rest! Thank you! We don't do game night or movie night or anything else but will definitely start doing both! My girls will love it!
You convinced me about the Ikea shelves some months back...and now I am equally obsessed!! They look good, are surprisingly sturdy, and hold a ton of whatever!
Oh my goodness Cas, you are just amazing, I want to give you the hugest hug and high five for being awesome! I just did a HUGE dollar store and Costco shop. You have inspired me so much to organize my families space so we are not going bonkers with four little ones under the age of five running around. I'm so excited to get things purged and beautifully organized (I'm a 🦋). You rule! Thank you so much!!!! 🤗
We do game night too!! Our favs are Farkel, Tenzi, pictionary, and sequence!!!! Try the all so so fun!! Tenzi is for ANY age!! It's fast and fun.

Apples To Apples! It's always interesting to see what each kiddo thinks is a funny/silly/logical pairing. Plus bonus that you can talk about the difference between an adjective and a noun! Pictionary Junior, Scategories Junior, and Taboo Junior are also great!
Hi Cass, Loved this video. Your kids are so adorable! You just took me down memory lane. 😊 I used to have a Little Tykes Storage bin w/Lid (Blue)for my son when he was younger for his toys. He used to search for things all the time. (Cube storage does corral items better though.) As he got older I got a Rubbermaid Storage Rack (made of similar material as the Little Tykes) to hold all his active activity stuff like, tennis rackets, bats & balls, gloves, rollerblades, etc. It has 3 lower compartments and places to hang items. This one worked well.
Hello I just so happy I found your channel you just change my kids and I messy life 😅 God bless your beautiful family I will keep watching your videos 😍
I've recently started watching your videos & I'm in love with them. Adopted a lot of your organizational ideas, which really saved my life😊 As a mom of 4 kids, an 8 yr old & 6 yr old triplets, I am always in need of such ideas😀 Looking forward to more videos...keep up the good work!! God bless u n your family😇😍
Thanks for these tips!! I'm in the process of redoing the kids' rooms. We have family game night too and usually family movie night. I love board games! Thanks for your recommendations!! 😃
Family game night is awesome! We had them when my kids got a little bigger. I would treat them to baked cookies and other treats. They loved them! Abby, Izzy and Milo are beautiful! My kids are in their late 20's and 30's and we play Mexican Train Dominoes!
glad to see other familys still playing board games! my kids love puzzles we take them to the dollar tree! Mouse trap is my youngest fav game right now! I get board games for our family christmas present this year we are getting twister!
Family game night thats a very beautiful idea ! I would like to try the games , and organizing ideas are great you are right with ikea cubes they are really perfect for kids .. i love how you got organized and made your kids the same 😍👍🏻
We do family game nights too! Here are some of our favorites: Spy Alley, Settlers of Catan, Azul, Splendor, Ticket to Ride, Bang, Dungeons and Dragons, Quiddler, Phase 10, Boggle, Apples to Apples, Loot, Memory. Total game nerds in my house. My grandson told me that "Sundays are boring" so we do a game night every other Sunday with him and his family. We also play Super Smash and Mariokart (I may have rage quit that game....) Outdoor games like Bocci and Kub are super fun too.
Great ideas on the kids bedrooms! I wish I had found these years ago. I have a video request. I've been desperately trying to find a solution for organizing games on pinterest and youtube. Last year I tried the hanging sweater organizer thing and that was a joke. Nothing fits in it so it's hanging there with a couple random things and all the games stacked all over the floor. I would love if you made a video on how to organize games so they're easy to access but also not visible! ;)
For just two players, mancala and Othello are fun. And of course, Mastermind, which you already have. I played that a ton when I was a kid! For card games I love Rook or Hand & Foot (played with 4 Rook decks). And our whole family loves the newest edition of Sorry! with the addition of the Fire and Ice elements. My kids get that one out and play with each other all the time.
I love your videos. I also am in love with Better Homes And Garden Cube Shelving. In the living room I have 1 lrg 8 cube for the tv, 2 lrg 8 cube each stacked up the long way for office supplies and a small one 4 cube for my desk. In my bedroom I have one large 8 cube for the tv in there. I want more lol
My parents are visiting, and we have been playing Clue. We have also been playing the junior versions of games, so that my 5-year-old isn't left out. Another favorite of our's is Yahtzee. It's a great way to help kids get better at doing simple math in their heads.
AGGRAVATION hands down x been playing it on the same board since I was 10 And I'm now 48 x it never gets old x bought my niece the exact same board from 1978 on eBay x she loves it as much as me x 💕💕💕👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Code names is one of my favorites to play!!! It is a great game and I like that it can be a fun kid friendly game or more adult geared depending on how you choose to play. You try to get your partner to guess what words they have that is on the table. you give them one word clues and how many cards correspond with it. Definitely recommend!!!
Wait till they are teens! I have them! Loved the video! I have a fourteen yr old, has plenty of storage stuff, and labeled. She still leaves her stuff everywhere. I am gonna try the no screen time till she cleans rule. Love games! Five crowns, guesstures, pictionary, wits and wagers.
Awww, this video was super refreshing. The fact that you spoke about family game night which is something I feel like most of us forgot about is so cool!! Family nights are so important!! Btw, love the IKEA cubes too!! Lol hugs, Curvey
Machi Koro is a really fun card game that can be played by almost any age. Skip Bo is great and also, Carcassone. It’s a strategy-ish type game. Everyone that plays with us, ends up loving it. We are a huge game night family and I’m always on the lookout for fun and unique games we can play. These 3 are some of our favs!
Thank you for another great video, Cas! We love Phase 10; it is a card game like 500 rummy but with 10 specific phases to complete. You have to complete each phase before moving onto the next one. My husband and I will sometimes change it and play only even phases or only odd phases, or issue challenges to each other. Bananagrams is another fun game and it might help Milo with spelling. Fast and fun, like a scrabble game but you can change your words as needed to try and win. Enjoy!
We love Apples to Apples, Clue, Beat the Parents, Speak Out (parents and kids edition) and the fast and furious card game, Wig Out! Family game night is big in this house too. Even the 15 year old wants in on the action!
I love Mastermind! We had the regular size and the travel one. One of our favorites as kids was Risky Strategy, where you have to get the majority of the Electoral College in the race for President. There's crossing, double-crossing, and trivia questions about politics. We also had a book with like 100 different card games (some will need multiple decks).
Loved your organizing ideas, I have used the cubbies and basket thing with my daughter, it works great and looks nice at the same time!!! Love family game night!!! Your channel is great!! 💕
Telestrations, is a great family game. It is pictonary mixed with the game telephone. My children range from the ages of 10, 19, and 20. And everytime we play we end up in a puddle of laughter! (My husband hates games and is always willing to play this one.) Thank you for the great video's :) I hope you enjoy your summer.
I love the Ikea shelves, I would love to get a couple for Lego's. Our favorite game night game is Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Cetane, Carcassonne, and Quarkle oh and of course Uno Attack.
There are tons of games that you and your family are going to enjoy: Carcassonne (there is a junior version for tiny ones and loooooots of expansions) and Dixit are two of my favourites. I am so looking forward to get Exploding Kittens too! Family board game night is something I used to do when I was a kid with my own family (and we still do) and it is a tradition I have exported to my own :). Fun fun times!
Thank you for sharing with us! Now I really want to introduce "a family game night" to my family some day, I was not even thinking about it ever, because in a country where I'm from ppl don't usually play a lot of games, mostly chess, but rarely and not so many families do it!
"Linwood" is one of our favourite games. Designed in New Zealand, it's a simple game that builds the board with tiles as people have their turns. The aim is to find all four super powers and get back home first. We got this game when my son was four, and it truly is a game where all players are equal. He was winning games after a few tries. It's cheap, and a small box. It does need a good table to play, as the board tiles need to be level. We also worked out how to play it as a cooperative game.
It'll be a few years before your whole family can play, but my extended family very much enjoyed "The Game of Things" a few years ago--cousins of all ages played happily together (I'm over 20 years older than my youngest cousin...and I'm not even the oldest cousin).
I love your after the video chit chat. You're hilarious. I love the sound of your family game night. My youngest daughter (she's 26) is still at home, along with my grandson (he's 6). We would have to have a total blackout in order to get those two off their electronics. Literally, we would have to be down to oil lamps and candles. Your family time sounds so fun. Thanks for sharing! Be Bless and continue being positive.
Cass ..your videos are so much fun and so informative. Your enthusiasm for life is contagious and i want to thank you for being such a' happiness giver ' :) ♡♡♡
Wonderful video! Our favorite games are Loaded Questions(my older son and his friends are also obsessed with this game,),Scattegories, and Parcheesi(an oldie but goodie)!💕
You are adorable, we love games too. Our favorites are settlers of Catan (have you played this?), ticket to Ride, and splendor. Our whole family, also likes dixit... Even great for the youngers.
We love Sequence! It's such a great game and if you have a lot of players you can play in teams. Also a new one that we LOVE is The Oregon Trail!! It's hilarious and just like the computer game from our childhood! We have a banned game in our house which is Taboo. We seriously call it the "Divorce Game" because whenever we play it one of the teams gets in a fight. Kinda like in the movie Four Christmases! LOL
Settlers of Catan! You and Abby may get a little worked up near the end (I sure do) but it's super duper fun! A board game where the objective is to collect resources and develop your area. Super cool game.
I bet my kids would love that game! Their favorite video game is Disney Infinity, where they are constantly gathering things and building their own worlds. :)
Dixit (guessing cards with crazy pictures from cryptic clues) and CV (roll dice and collect cards to make a life story) are both great family games with lovely art work. Pandemic is also a fun team boardgame to save the world from diseases (each person has a different role like researching cures, transporting doctors etc.) Forbidden Island is another good team game and it comes in quite a small tin so you can take it on holiday easily... I like watching "Rahdo" (on UA-cam) run-throughs of boardgames to get a feel for them before buying.
Cass! Try to play Clue by hiding the clue cards around the house. Then the rest of the family becomes detectives by searching for the clues! My now teens love this game and loved it even before they could read. It gets everybody up and moving. And dad can hide them. I know mine likes that. We have even played this at spy birthday parties.
Great video! Some of our favourite games are Quirkle, battleship and a newer versions of monopoly called monopoly empire. Much shorter than regular monopoly but similar. Really fun.
Love ALLLLLof your videos! Didn’t find you until Fall 2018! Our favorite games are TICKET TO RIDE, KINGDOMINO, DOMINION, SETTLERS OF CATAN & old school DOMINOES! RACKO would be a great game to play with Milo & fun for the whole family!
Hello sweetie ,your children are adorable, love your channel so much , I could listen to you all day , you are hilarious, love love love you you are such a cheery person. xx
I swear you always put out the videos I need when I need them most!!! I was thinking of turning the toy chest in my son's room into a game chest for the living room!!! definitely happening now!!! we played lots of games this past winter and can't wait to try some of your suggested games. I was the sore loser in my family growing up. My youngest shares the same trait, Lord help us Lol! Everyone loved Boggle! Really simple word game, but we love it! Thanks for the game suggestions!
Our absolute favorite game is Ludo, but not the regular Ludo. We love the six players ludo and we play with two dices at the same time. Our dices have a star and a globe on each, and when it's your turn you roll both dices. It's so much fun and even my youngest could play at the age of six. Even my 63 year old mother loves it. We are flying out tomorrow to visit her, and we will be playing a lot of Ludo games every day. Can't wait to see my mom and brother. We only get to see them once or twice a year.
I just love you! 😊😊😊from your personality to your organization tips! Thank you for always getting me in a better mood!😊I love games try malarkey! Your whole family can play too!😊
I think it's great that your children clean their rooms and they look great. Love watching your videos you are so funny ( for those that stay to the end LOL) Love your ideas 💡 Also beautiful home 🏡
Clue is my favorite board game! We even got our 20 something friends to play pictionary with us and they love it! We also like the Disney and regular Yahzee. But my love and I are no longer allowed to play or utter the word 'Rummy' in our home. It was the great argument of 2017 on what an actual Rummy is.
Thank you Cas! These tips are wonderful and helpful! Thank you!!!! Family game night is a great idea. I see that needing to happen more and more as my kids grow.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️----- Brandis
Games our family likes to play Twister, Shoots and Ladders, Apple to Apples, Cranium. We do Family Games nights with extended family, like cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents.
My in-laws are in Canada (Vancouver/Richmond area), and a game that we always play whenever we visit up there (or when papa comes down here) is Sequence. Could be anywhere from 2 to I think 6 people (3 teams of 2).
We loved Mastermind growing up! Have you played Masterpiece? It's a memory game where you try to buy and sell paintings. "Authors" is a fun version of "go fish".
Great video!
Tip summary:
1. Make the systems easy to follow (drawer organizers, keep most-used items at eye level and easy to reach, avoid toy boxes)
2. Lower closet bars to eye level or below eye level
3. Use IKEA cube storage (clothes in bins on the bottom)

I jus have to say I have been watching ur videos for a while now and u r such a beautiful and honest character I can feel How real u r and it's such a pleasure to see plz keep up the great videos sending lots of love from bonnie Scotland 💜💜💜
zara ali true..i totally agree
I always enjoy your little stories about things in your life. I can often relate or have a big laugh.
Your intro song instantly makes me smile and then you are so positive too! Love your videos!
The IKEA cubes are quite possibly the love of my life. We have them in our kids' bedrooms, their playroom, our homeschool room, the upstairs family room, my husband's home office, and we are looking at more for the living room. They are the best!

Love your energy! Truly felt I was hanging out with a friend and getting advice. Thanks!!
You convinced me about the Ikea shelves some months back...and now I am equally obsessed!! They look good, are surprisingly sturdy, and hold a ton of whatever!

Is there another option for the IKEA shelf for cubes?
Oh my goodness Cas, you are just amazing, I want to give you the hugest hug and high five for being awesome! I just did a HUGE dollar store and Costco shop. You have inspired me so much to organize my families space so we are not going bonkers with four little ones under the age of five running around. I'm so excited to get things purged and beautifully organized (I'm a 🦋). You rule! Thank you so much!!!! 🤗
Set and Bubble Talk are two of our family favorites.
Thank you! This was one of best, most informative & easiest videos to watch. The relatable content helps most. 😊
Hi Cass,
Loved this video.
I am so glad to hear you say your girls do their own laundry. I made my kids do their own wash too. Great video.

We love the game Munchkins. Even our teens play and enjoy it! Theres lots of different expansion packs too. LOVE it!
Our kids are 11, 15 and 17

So true! Tidy up daily and it save us all!
Our favorite family game is Ticket to Ride. It's kind of expensive but I saw the price drop last Christmas on Amazon, so watch for it then.
Telestrations, is a great family game. It is pictonary mixed with the game telephone. My children range from the ages of 10, 19, and 20. And everytime we play we end up in a puddle of laughter! You have an adorable family.
We love to play Act Your Wage from the Ramsey company, it is super educational and fun to play 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
We are obsessed with Catan right now. Our 6 and 8 year old love the game.
Bins and labels are a must for young children. It's work for the parent up front but pays off.

Wonderful video! Our favorite games are Loaded Questions(my older son and his friends are also obsessed with this game,),Scattegories, and Parcheesi(an oldie but goodie)!💕
Your personality is awesome!! Makes the videos fun to watch and great info!
LOL
Ashley R Hahaha the divorce game! 😂😂😂 I'm dying!
I cant, I love taboo.
We have even played this at spy birthday parties.
sylvia muecke love this idea!!!
Brilliant
You are a amazing person. I love you exciting attitude, and makes me more excited too! Love your videos!!!
As always, great organizing ideas!
My kids are 11,10, and 8 and we really have been enjoying the game Ticket to Ride!
Breanne Thompson I have never heard of it, but since a few of you mentioned it, I'm adding it to my Amazon cart today!
some great tips as always... our favorites right now is monopoly here and now and uno
Life is a really fun family game
I just love you! 😊😊😊from your personality to your organization tips! Thank you for always getting me in a better mood!😊I love games try malarkey! Your whole family can play too!😊
LOVE Mastermind!! And ooh! Never played Spyfall!!
Julie Scott lol...Rummy is a good game, but I can see how it could start an epic fight
We love exploding kittens too. We were introduced carcasonne that's good. hard to described but good fun non the less.
My in-laws are in Canada (Vancouver/Richmond area), and a game that we always play whenever we visit up there (or when papa comes down here) is Sequence. Could be anywhere from 2 to I think 6 people (3 teams of 2).
Your family is gorgeous! You are so helpful tfs😍😍😍
We loved Mastermind growing up! Have you played Masterpiece? It's a memory game where you try to buy and sell paintings. "Authors" is a fun version of "go fish".
