AGL Ultimate Gohan surprises me how good he is, and mine is only 55%. He is VERY solid. Not out performing the other units in the Majin Buu Saga roster, but still is very reliable imo.
Jiren isn't horrible but I think he is solid if you get his HP condition off. They should have removed the turn condition period and kept his 30% Dr permanent and he would have been really good me thinks

Finally, Truth recognizes how great LR AGL Ultimate Gohan is! I recall Truth’s showcasing of AGL Angel SSJ3 Goku in the T.O.P. SMB Stage 4, AGL Ulthan tanked PHY EvoKen’s 2.4 Million DMG Super Attack for around 460k Damage, and AGL Ulthan only did ONE SUPER, which was his 18 Ki Ultra Super Attack. AGL Ultimate Gohan didn’t use his Active Skill or had any support, besides the extra defense from his Intro animation. LR AGL Ultimate Gohan isn’t The Beast, but he’s a monster in his own right. After using him in the newest 9th Anniversary fights over at Global (at the moment of Part 2), I can confidently say that he’s a reliable heavy-hitter for many of the 9th Anniversary fights, doesn’t struggle with Ki (assuming you have his Intro), and is a solid support + tank in Slot Two, especially when his Active Skill is up. I had him tank Kid Buu’s fully-built up SA with it. I have him Rainbowed and ran off just a 170% Leader Skill, but he’s shown to be a great unit overall and I’m glad to see some respect for him. A W for the AGL Ulthan fans!

They should've made him a good slot one option. Guarding before supering is only safe if you're either a stacker with a lot of raw defense, or good damage reduction, or both.

That's not atrociously bad but it's not really that great either. She takes huge chunks of damage from scary supers early which will very much get you killed more often than not. For a little context my bulma is 55% so rainbow will be a little bit different but she's still going to take fairly large chunks of damage from early supers. None of this is accounting for the fact that there's going to be a good chunk of the time that you don't get 7 orbs and instead get 5-6 which means she's taking much larger chunks and potentially even outright dying to the same super.
PLEASE DO SHOWCASE OF OTHER LESS HYPED CHARACTERS, like not always the best of the best teams for difficult events since we don’t have all the top units

the one thing i dont like about how you view characters is always saying things like "youll never see them transform its way too deep into the fight" and i feel like that ignored most of the player base who doesnt have every character on the team rainbowed. i have quite a few units with some dupes im not even completely free to play and i still see broly transform often. its cool that you judge based on your experience but it would be nice to be taken into consideration sometimes

Full dodge does not save units who can't deal with normals so no, not every character eventually goes full dodge because you tend to stop using them long before that.

Yes, she is tanking all normals currently. You need to have her full dodge. If a boss supers her, she is done. But unlike 90% of the rest of the game that also dies to the supers, she isnt dodge or die on the normals, and is bringing more then any other support. If Earth bred fighters had a new leader, she would still make the cut. She is not a slot one anymore, which is where people think she has fallen off. But honestly she was overtuned and now she is functionally doing what she should have on release.
So i gotta ask since Lr Cell Max isn't on global yet do you thin Android 17 (Universe 7) is worth getting with coins? Him, the Lr U2 Trio, Namek Vegeta/Goku,, the 7th anniversary yellow coin lrs, and Cell Max are the only yellow coin lrs i'm missing.
Cell Max is my single most wanted unit rn, I have a newish JP account so not too many units, and since I dont have Cell Max, the 5 extreme type movie boss rush mission is destroying me and I'm so mad 😭 why is Cell Max like the only good Extreme STR unit in the entire game and why's he like top 2, yet a gold coin LR so harder to get and on a garbage banner lmao Literally the only usable extreme STR unit I have is LR Cooler, and he always is sealed and locked in slot 1 by Bojack or supered in slot 3 by AGL Broly 💀 bro is 79% and takes like 300k per normal from AGL Broly even with a Whis and INT Golden Frieza support too 💀💀

This whole defense is better than offense and vice versa talk needs to stop. It's just plain stupid. Both are literally required to win fights. A unit who can't defend is irrelevant, a unit who does no damage but can defend still has some uses. Objectively defense is much more important than damage.

People have cleared 9th anni content with the lr super saiyan trio for example. yet the would be considered a "Glass Cannon". The threshold for what is considered great damage just ages a lot faster than defense does. They are less willing to jump boss's damage by huge margins so they slightly up the damage they deal and then up their health a lot. If we had a unit that dealt exactly 100% of a bosses health on super they would literally never be able to age without them restricting their damage (Devilman as the perfect example here) Yet if we had a unit with exactly 100% DR they would never age but also you could still very well lose with them on the team because they can't be in all three slots. Which is why this argument is fucking stupid You can't win by just defense, You can't win by just offense. They're symbiotic. they need each other. They literally do not function without one another.
Side note related to my other comment, does anyone know of a half decent Extreme STR unit besides Cell Max thats on Broly's team? Stacking units couldnt compete cuz theoretically they have no limits

Literally the only usable extreme STR unit I have is LR Cooler, and he always is sealed and locked in slot 1 by Bojack or supered in slot 3 by AGL Broly 💀 bro is 79% and takes like 300k per normal from AGL Broly even with a Whis and INT Golden Frieza support too 💀💀

This whole defense is better than offense and vice versa talk needs to stop. It's just plain stupid. Both are literally required to win fights. You don't win with just defense and you don't win with just offense, this has literally NEVER been the case.

The boss CAN still kill because you still take damage even if it's double digits. Bosses now can take literally 0 damage.

A unit who can't defend is irrelevant, a unit who does no damage but can defend still has some uses. Objectively defense is much more important than damage.
@@_Seru_ That is hilariously untrue. Units with high dr and low damage are for sure runnable. Yet you claim glass cannons are unrunnable? People have cleared 9th anni content with the lr super saiyan trio for example. yet the would be considered a "Glass Cannon". The threshold for what is considered great damage just ages a lot faster than defense does. They are less willing to jump boss's damage by huge margins so they slightly up the damage they deal and then up their health a lot.
If we had a unit that dealt exactly 100% of a bosses health on super they would literally never be able to age without them restricting their damage (Devilman as the perfect example here)
Yet if we had a unit with exactly 100% DR they would never age but also you could still very well lose with them on the team because they can't be in all three slots.
Which is why this argument is fucking stupid
You can't win by just defense, You can't win by just offense. They're symbiotic. they need each other. They literally do not function without one another.
