One thing I've accepted for myself from talking to people and studying science is that science doesn't outright refute the idea of God. It and logic just suggests he doesn't exist by our idea of "existence." I think it's a separate issue whether or not science and the idea of God can coexist. I still don't believe, but I don't find it unreasonable for people to believe there are compelling forces in this universe that we can't comprehend.
