18 psi all round is my go to sand pressure. I used it on the trip up to Cape Peron and never looked like getting stuck. 30 is too hard and it's probably why you dug in. It also chops up the track for others and makes your vehicle work too hard. Pleased to see you drop down to 20 psi but why not follow the advice on the entry signs and go there first to maintain the track condition? Good luck with the channel and your travels.
Definitely learnt a lot. We started out just going to Big Lagoon, but as you head to the point, it's definitely a bit softer. Lesson learnt. We finished around 15psi to get out. Cheers
