I just did the same... I can't tell you how many times I have hit the blue button and praying it works this time.... Now I wish I had seen this sooner and I want my hours of cursing back.
Thank you so much, I completed all of the steps by cleaning the rollers with some alcohol, in the different areas you mentioned, and voila the printer is back to working. You are a God send. I appreciate this so much!!!!
Thanks - I spent ages trying to reset and fix things at the back and when I saw your video I was about to go past the bit about checking the paper input as I was sure it was ok ... but I just tried it and it immediately fixed the error. Learned a lesson ... go more slowly!!! thanks
My WF-4820 kept jamming and the grid-like foam pad under the heads was lifted up.. I pulled on it and it came out :( . Trying to get it back in there but can't find directions ... smoke coming out ears.
Good afternoon, I saw your video. the problem with my printer is that it pulls the paper halfway and then stops. It says there is no paper or it is jammed.
Hi, useful video, but cleaning didn't solve my problem I even replaced the small rollers, but only improved pick up of A4, not smaller photo papers. I realised that the assembly that drops down, with the two small rollers was just not exerting enough pressure, so in desperation temporarily taped a couple of small coins to it to increase weight & pressure. This seems to have solved the pickup problem! Therefore, as a more permanent solution I propose to fill the gaps on the top of this assembly with small nuts or similar and seal in with glue or silicone as this would be tidier.
I have a workforce 7830 I have put photo paper in it an it keeps telling me there no paper but when I take it out an put back in normal paper it’s fine I need help please
didn't fit it but i think i know what my issue is 😭 one of the white little wheels inside that i can barely access through the back door is loose 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 gonna check the rest of ur channel to see if u have a tutorial by any chance
Didn't work for me.... I have a 4550 and have used it a lot.... tried his method several times with the alcohol cleaning all rollers. It would print a few and then die again. Spitting the blank paper out without picking the sheets up and printing them.... I'm assuming that the rollers are just no good and need replacement or a new printer. I tried several times and keep getting the same results.
muy buenas tardes tengo una igual pero ella scanea sin ningun problema desde el el cristal de scanneer pero desde adf no quiere reconocerlo para scanear agradezco su respuesta por favor
Hi. The ADF has a tiny sensor tab that may be jammed. If you insert your document to scan from ADF, make sure you push paper to proper area so the tab detects it. If it doesn't check it out, it may be stuck or jammed. If the printer recognizes that there is a document in the ADF, but when it tries to feed the document into the ADF to scan or copy and paper isn't being fed, the rollers need to be cleaned. Open the ADF cover and clean rollers with warm water on paper towel. Do not spray any water or solution on the parts. Please let me know how that goes. In this video, at about 4:50 into the video, you can see a white tab sticking up next to the adf roller, that is the sensor tab for adf.
I followed your instruction for cleaning the rollers and this solved my paper jam! Reminded me of cleaning my cassette player back in the early 80's.
I have an Epson Workforce 630 that I bought over ten years ago and It still works.

Does this apply for WK 3640?
Hi. Do you mean wf-3640? Yes, similar concept. Though wf-3640 is bigger, it has similar access points as this model.

My printer works but the connection to wireless is not working. Any suggestions? Thanks
Go to your printer settings and select network setup. Turn on the wireless network settings. I have a similar model and may be able to show in a video

I'm sorry. I had a similar situation once or twice. Nothing I did was making a difference.
