The fact that they can bust this out with perfection when it counts, and still take some creative risks throughout is amazing. This is as tight as I've ever seen them play.
Saw them live and it really.puts it into perspective. They're all absolute world class musicians, and they all come together to make amazing music. That in itself is hard enough when you're not top shelf.
So I just found out about this band through their recent recording of Crucial Taunt at Telefunken and I'm incredibly glad I finally have this music in my life. I've known of this band for a long time but just never listened to them and I have been really missing out.
It is now 4 years later and I'm curious how many times you've seen them. Are you still a fan? My wife and I took a sabbatical after our son was born in 2010 and I'm taking him to his first show in a couple weeks and I'm super pumped about it 🤘
I am old enough that I used to go to see the old-school jam bands like the Allmans, but in this much-more desolate musical landscape of today, its so good to find that there all still tight, hooky, funky, improvisational musicians creating and laying their stuff down....SCHWEET !!!!!
Great to see Joel on the beautiful Steinway. Nothing beats the real thing though if I remember correctly he at one time played an S 90 ES which is the closest thing I've played to a real grand.
Dudes.... you guys are my favorite band of all time. So awesome. I know its rude to ask you to learn a song to cover. But oh my God please learn True Survivor by David Hasslehoff and play it at counterpoint. I don't have facebook so I think this is the only way to contact yall. Bayliss you blessed my dog at bear creek. He is now the greatest dog of all time. Thank you for being such a great band and I look foward to see yall many many times in the future. Dang ole umph man
Accuse me of this, trusting what I digest To think or confess, silence seems to be best Speaking of words, accepting it would be worse And solace comes first, it forfeits here in retrieving Every last reason for wanting of evidence With all things beside us that line up as residence Everything left be a waste of time Perfect as this, to only realize a guess Conflicts can rest, what takes precedence next? Keeping with words, how can I be assured? Solace comes first, it forfeits here in retrieving Every last reason for wanting of evidence With all things beside us that line up as residence Everything left be a waste of time
If a classical composer came to the future and somehow wound up with me, this is one of the things I would show them.

Once again - amazing individual and collective musicianship✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

Felt the same way after I saw them the first time. Had friends who’d tried to get me to listen to them but I wasn’t having it for like. 6 years lol

Thank you on behalf of all that is holy for letting Out Of Order play without voiceovers.

You guys should tour with Incubus, that would be an incredible show.
