      If you ever go back go off the strip.
      Flamingo RD has a few casinos. Prices are cheaper.
      Fremont st is also cheaper. Also there is more to vegas than just the casinos. Look into things you like. They probably have something there for it and it’s probably interesting… 😊 I lived there for a year and got to know a few things ☺️ google/google maps will be your best friend. And if you wanna eat some slammin fries.. Mr Fries Man is on Flamingo RD… one meal is like $18 and up but it’s worth it. One meal will feed two people comfortably. (I liked the buffalo chicken fries, also the honey, garlic, steak and shrimp.) about 10 blocks from the strip. Take the bus… it’s a couple bucks cheaper than parking, mentally and physically 😂😂

    • @TheEmpressEbony
      @TheEmpressEbony 19 днів тому

      If you ever go back to Vegas my best advice is to go off the strip. You will find cheaper places to eat lower minimum bet casinos a more relaxed atmosphere and better food. Like Mr. Fries Man!!! They are about 10 blocks off the strip, straight up flamingo Road if I could post pictures you would be drooling right now! (my favorites are the honey, garlic, steak and shrimp and the buffalo chicken. It’s a lot of food. It’s worth the price) There’s a few great casinos on flamingo Road. If you literally walk away from the strip with it in back of you. Just walk straight up flamingo Road or catch a bus. It’s not worth driving. It’s a headache. There’s all kinds of casinos. Also their are quite a few On Fremont Street. There’s even zip lining and shows and just a lot of stuff that you can do that’s pretty reasonable off the strip and still have a blast. I also feel that they have looser slots in those places. Sorry I don’t know about the table games that I don’t play those. I lived there for a year I moved two years ago. I want to go back.😢

      Media has been so skewed these past 3-4 years. Its hard to know whats legit. The revenue says its up on the strip but that’s because the prices have gone up. F1 supposedly had a good attendance number, but they dont tell you that restaurants count people dining near the tracks as attendees. So even if you were just there on the days of the event, theyd say you were a part of the attendance numbers. Its messed up

      This again is for the very wealthy check. The price for tickets. I cry a little every day that average, everyday people can't come to Vegas and have a good time. They've ruined this city because of their greed....

    I first moved to Vegas in 1980 and it was awesome. Everything was affordable, great service and fun. It is a terrible rat race now, everything is over priced to the max , there is a huge line for everything and everything is always dirty , broken and out of order. I had to move there for work five years ago for work and will be leaving soon. The big mistake was making Vegas a bedroom community rather than what it was supposed to be a fun place to gamble , party and carouse.

    There are no concessions outside where you experience the LONG WAIT to go the a Sphere show. If they sold food and booze with seating while you wait to go in it would be a much better experience & that loss would go away.

    I’m a construction contractor in Vegas ,I sat in a city council meeting there is a 10 year construction plan to include MLB, NBA and PBR stadiums and a few more resorts plus all the infrastructure ,housing and schools to tie it all in . Don’t believe Vegas is dead , people are paying the prices and they will continue to do so these are publicly traded companies and have shareholders to protect. Inflation,insurance and energy costs have effected the prices of everything everywhere when and if that reduces prices will relax

    I used to go to Vegas regularly. I was there twice this year. But I have to say that beyond it getting greedy and expensive, it's really becoming boring and uninspiring. Human arrogance is ultimately what is going to be it's down fall. The hotel industry is cannibalizing itself. I hope the excitement returns, but I'm not seeing anything on the horizon that looks close to interesting.

    Thirtycent raise a year over 5 years (that’s $1.50) that’s ridiculous. Maybe I miss heard her if it is 30% over 5 years that would be better. I am a player so I used to bring some $$$ to play along with my wife.
    But now all the fees,, high costs plus a lot of other problems eat into the gaming issue.Thusless revenue.
    Weusedto go1-2 times a year since1995, but no longer, because we are from outside the US and Vegas is not a good value anymore. You want people to come play and spend on the strip- do what you have to do to have more winners ( winners spend like drunken sailors), reduce or end resort and some other fees, and improve the reward programs, like the old MLife reward program.

    The Sphere's financial problems can be traced directly to its ticket price structure - that's a no-brainer. And as far as the LVCP (or whatever it ends up being called), there's a LOT that has to happen, not the least of which is financing. Digital renderings are nice, but actually putting the money together for this is quite another challenge. As is an NBA arena that has no team (yet).

    I live in Las Vegas and have since 1989 and there is nothing about this town that has not turned Shite...well at least the strip has...no one can pay to go anywhere near the damn thing...what was once fun and a regulate place to go is now some foreign country...fortunately the areas way off the strip is fine and like any other town...but what they have done to the strip is criminal...what you use to costs for a night on the town including dinner and music is now the parking fee and it goes up every year...So F**K them...one of the reasons i moved here in the first place was low humidity now with over 2 million people living here most with pools the humidity is now exceeding 30% in the summer time so time to looking for somewhere else for a decent place to live, because this ain't t.
