@TurnItUpWorld about 10 years ago. My first time was in Aug 1994. Stayed at the Flamingo and had a blast. They had a buffet and slots that only took quarters and bills. Carried around my cup full! Slots were looser back then. Lots of wins and low table minimums so you could play for a long time.

I’m a construction contractor in Vegas ,I sat in a city council meeting there is a 10 year construction plan to include MLB, NBA and PBR stadiums and a few more resorts plus all the infrastructure ,housing and schools to tie it all in . Don’t believe Vegas is dead , people are paying the prices and they will continue to do so these are publicly traded companies and have shareholders to protect. Inflation, insurance and energy costs have effected the prices of everything everywhere when and if that reduces prices will relax
@@TurnItUpWorld We gamble locally now. It isn't the same as all the glitz and glamor of Vegas but what can we do? It'$ all so costly. Take care you two. Stay safe and keep up that wonderful energy. I can visit your site any time and see Vegas. Thanks! xox 😘
I used to go to Vegas regularly. I was there twice this year. But I have to say that beyond it getting greedy and expensive, it's really becoming boring and uninspiring. Human arrogance is ultimately what is going to be it's down fall. The hotel industry is cannibalizing itself. I hope the excitement returns, but I'm not seeing anything on the horizon that looks close to interesting.
I actually went to the soft opening to jason aldean restaurant. Just right time and place.. walking by. We re there for the vegas knights game. Food was all very good. Comfort southern menu. Pot roast , chicken and waffles and meatloaf. ❤. Staff was so friendly and drinks delicious.
Thirtycent raise a year over 5 years (that’s $1.50) that’s ridiculous. Maybe I miss heard her if it is 30% over 5 years that would be better. I am a player so I used to bring some $$$ to play along with my wife. But now all the fees,, high costs plus a lot of other problems eat into the gaming issue.Thusless revenue. Weusedto go1-2 times a year since1995, but no longer, because we are from outside the US and Vegas is not a good value anymore. You want people to come play and spend on the strip- do what you have to do to have more winners ( winners spend like drunken sailors), reduce or end resort and some other fees, and improve the reward programs, like the old MLife reward program.
The Sphere's financial problems can be traced directly to its ticket price structure - that's a no-brainer. And as far as the LVCP (or whatever it ends up being called), there's a LOT that has to happen, not the least of which is financing. Digital renderings are nice, but actually putting the money together for this is quite another challenge. As is an NBA arena that has no team (yet).
Bring back the good old days of Las Vegas! It’s too expensive, too crowded, too many traffics and too many hustlers on the walkways. Not safe to walk around alone!
Free parking and dump resorts fees, solves too many issues so of course they can't K.I.S.S. ? Should not have done either in the 1st place, but I've known both here and way better experience before 3 corps bought up most of the Strip?
I live in Las Vegas and have since 1989 and there is nothing about this town that has not turned Shite...well at least the strip has...no one can pay to go anywhere near the damn thing...what was once fun and a regulate place to go is now some foreign country...fortunately the areas way off the strip is fine and like any other town...but what they have done to the strip is criminal...what you use to costs for a night on the town including dinner and music is now the parking fee and it goes up every year...So F**K them...one of the reasons i moved here in the first place was low humidity now with over 2 million people living here most with pools the humidity is now exceeding 30% in the summer time so time to looking for somewhere else for a decent place to live, because this ain't t.

Thanks for sharing Steve, that’s a helpful perspective! 😀
This version of Chicago is a stain on it's legacy.
Haven't been there in years because nothing is priced for regular folk like us.
Thanks for sharing, where do you like to vacation now?
@@TurnItUpWorld We gamble locally now. It isn't the same as all the glitz and glamor of Vegas but what can we do? It'$ all so costly. Take care you two. Stay safe and keep up that wonderful energy. I can visit your site any time and see Vegas. Thanks! xox 😘
I like fremont better ill be there in February can't wait.
No mention of Mariah coming back?
January 31, February 1, 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, and 15, 2025 at Park MGM Dolby Live.
Casino Royale is closing for a 699 foot tall tower
Thanks for sharing, we had heard that previously as well.
Need to build a New Vegas with different rules.
F1 costs me two trips a year avoiding that mess
I actually went to the soft opening to jason aldean restaurant. Just right time and place.. walking by. We re there for the vegas knights game. Food was all very good. Comfort southern menu. Pot roast , chicken and waffles and meatloaf. ❤. Staff was so friendly and drinks delicious.
Thanks for sharing Ashley, sounds great! We are excited to check it out soon!! 😀
You want the main economic driver of a city to pay poverty wages?
The Sphere's financial problems can be traced directly to its ticket price structure - that's a no-brainer. And as far as the LVCP (or whatever it ends up being called), there's a LOT that has to happen, not the least of which is financing. Digital renderings are nice, but actually putting the money together for this is quite another challenge. As is an NBA arena that has no team (yet).
Vegas is a tourist trap. Not worth it. Go travel somewhere else
Bring back the good old days of Las Vegas! It’s too expensive, too crowded, too many traffics and too many hustlers on the walkways. Not safe to walk around alone!
Sphere lol. Wait for when they go belly up!
New Years is my last trip for awhile.
The minds in Vegas seem to do stuff, build things then worry about the consequences later! The Sphere? Prime example.
Handpay change to $5000.00???
Ridiculous it hasn’t changed. Will never happen. IRS wants their share.
I'm more ready for a Baseball team to come to Vegas
I think mariah carey coming to the strip
Thanks for sharing! Yes, we shared that in a prior update! We appreciate it.
it is all Greed dying on the vine!!!!
The formula one really takes always from the strip….
Thanks for sharing Carrie, it’s definitely not for everyone!
Vegas has been ruined. I’m never going back.
30cent raise 😂😂😂😂
It used to be fun and affordable. Now it’s just a really nasty place. How do parents bring their kids with them??
