as a fan of yachty since his debut into rap, i enjoyed his music when i was younger (age 13-16) because it was fun and lighthearted becuase that was the "era" of music that we were in, young kids like me were scouring the internet to find music that "we" liked and sounded good not really caring much about the lyriscm or meaning of the music. Granted through the years of yachtys career i began to grow as an individual and developed my own taste with that i noticed yachtys music also growing alongside me in regards to subject matter, production, and creative direction. Now as i am 21 i have grown a deeper respect and appreciation for boats music as i now see clearly the direction he is heading and the sound that he is wanting to produce being one that is centered around quality rather than the "bubbly &f fun" music that he produced when he was younger. i BEIEVE that yachty understands his audience has grown older and he is pivoting and pursuing music that is much more focused on the quality and longevity, rather than the quick streams. This is evident through his concrete group and igniting the careers of young allstars such as Karrahboo.

At 1:35 he called Biggie overrated as part of a game where he had to say if he thought an artist was overrated or underrated, then the media took this answer and framed it as him hating on Biggie which wasn't the case.
Not a bad documentary overall but there are pieces of this video that show too much bias opinion inserted in this piece for example : he failed to mention that yachty"s career was in the dirt until poland. he was being mentioned as a fall off rapper whenever that topic had occured during that time period. Poland was only hot for a couple of months but his consistency of collabs pulled him back into relevancy.

I don't think he has a problem with repetitive elements in songs like when you repeat a word a lot, but songs themselves being repetitive, rappers just keep dropping the same music imitating other artists that are popping, not really taking any risks or being creative themselves. U can't act like that's not true....
